Latauar Vegetable Steamer Basket - Stainless Steel Collapsible Steamer Insert, Adjustable Sizes to Fit Various Pots (13cm to 24cm)

I don't have a very big kitchen so don't have the space for a proper vegetable steamer machine. Bought this to fit in my pans but it tends to like to close itself a bit when in the pan which is annoying as the steam then comes up and straight to the lid rather than through the vegetables to properly steam them. Still does the job just rather annoying. Tricky to clean, again as I have a small kitchen I don't have a dishwasher so the bristles on the scrubbing brush get stuck in the holes and moving parts of the steamer. I still use the product though and it is handy as it collapses to save space. I would reccomend though if you can't afford or fit a proper electric steamer into your kitchen and it's a product that is only used a couple times but week.

This product is perfect especially with the plastic handles and it makes it so easy to remove from pan other like the old ones with a silly flimsy wire hook. Definitely recommend as part of Pan store.

Am very pleased with this steamer. I cooked broccoli, cauliflower carrots at one time, all veg came out lovely. I love the way that it is so compact, it has replaced my big steamer.

I steamed fish in it, which is what I purchased it for. It wasn’t successful right from the start, but that was my fault in not having a deep enough saucepan to be able to put a lid on it. The cooking worked with foil as a lid,, but to try and clean inbetween the collapsible components afterwards was a complete nightmare.

Great if you don't have a lot of storage space. But it doesn't steam that great.

Load of crap. Constantly falls in the water. Put in the bin.

Found that it did not want to stay open the edge of my 15cm pan. Also central handle was too bulky.Difficult to fit the vegetables around it. Would be absolutely fine for larger size saucepans.
