Naturally, smells deliciously like Dove. This is what I use to dilute vivid semi-permanent hair colors to make them pastels. Each one is the perfect size for one coloring, long hair. While it's in your hair, it feels fantastic. Like your dry hair is sighing with relief.I imagine if I didn't mix it with the cheap, drying color I buy, the hydrating effects would be much better. With my off-brand usage, the results aren't fabulous. That said, they aren't damaging either. Sometimes one can do too much. I would be that person.

My daughter (19) and I use this mask about once a week to deep condition our hair. I love the way it smells and it makes my hair smooth and easy to brush.

This is actually a set of 4 Dove hair masks; each jar is 4 ounces. I used this on my relatively short hair, which is part fine light brown and part wiry white (I just turned 60!). The mask is easy to use in the shower, and I like that it comes in a jar (rather than a bottle), as it is easy to dispense. It leaves my hair soft, and I can see that it would be great for someone with long hair that tangles easily.I was a bit confused when I received this product and when I read the description. It didn't seem like other Dove products I have recently tried. The label is in both French and English, and it does not have the PETA emblem that recent products have to indicate that it's cruelty free. Also, the description page has some serious typos and isn't written with the usual Dove advertising tone. And, it is linked in Amazon to "skin care" rather than "hair care." (NOTE: I see that the issues in the last 2 sentences are now fixed. Thank you!)The product also has no safety seal. So before trying it I wanted to investigate further to ensure that this is actually a Dove product. Yes, it is advertised in the Dove store, and I see that it is sold at at least one other major retailer. I can see on the jar that this is produced in Canada, so it is likely a different "division" of Dove.It does have a moderately strong scent. It seems that Dove is moving toward milder scents and fragrance-free, which I think is a GREAT move. I'm mild-moderately sensitive to scents, the fragrance is a bit too strong for me. It smells like the scent I had associated with Dove products in the past.I gave this 4 stars for effectiveness, but I do think Dove could reduce the fragrance, implement some kind of safety seal, and also seek the PETA cruelty-free certification for this product!

This is the best texturizing cream. Not greasy at all. It takes care of the frizzies and adds some body and texture, and you don't need to use much. My hair is fine and wavy/frizzy. Dove comes through again with a great product priced right.

I was born with long hair & I will die with long hair. I am 36 years old & I've tried TONS of things on my hair. This product keeps me from having to go get a relaxer put on my hair. Enough said lol. I LOVE IT!
