Excelente compra
De material muy resistente y la proteína no se queda pegada como me pasaba en otros shakers. Ha sido el mejor que he comprado comparado con otros de casi el mismo precio.

Instructions unclear, made a mess. Read instructions here!
I've attached a picture from my first try of using this to make a protein shake, where I didn't know that I needed to hold down on the green tab before mixing. Guessing this is common knowledge? I didn't know, this is the first shaker I ever bought or held. 15 minutes of cleanup later, recorded a video and attached it of how I used it the second time - and everything was fine and the shake was super smooth.LEARN HOW TO SHAKE THE SHAKE WITH THESE THREE WEIRD TRICKS!So actually there are only three real important pieces of advice I can give you. There is no instructions manual included with the product, so better to know this ahead of using it wrong.1. Make sure that when you close the lid, you screw it very tight. If you don't screw it tight, there's a chance some liquid will leak as you shake it.2. HOLD THE GREEN TAB. Watch the video to see what I mean. If you don't hold it you'll have an accident like I did.3. Shake it inside the sink, so that even if you do get a leak, it's going to be contained within the confines of the easy to wash sink.Using these instructions, plus instructions mentioned in a YouTube video titled "How to avoid lumps in your whey protein shake!" by garangfitness - gave me a super smooth protein shake and no spillage.I haven't used the green ball, I think that using it will over time damage the product, so no intention of ever using it.

I have been a Contigo user for years, and this is my first disappointment
I have many Contigo thermal cups that are fabulous and well used, so when I saw the smaller mixing cup for the gym or just on the go, I thought "This will be great! I know know this brand, this bottle will be air tight!"Alas, that is not the case. No matter how much I tighten the lid, each time I shake the contents of the bottle they leak out onto my hands, my clothes, the sink I'm shaking the bottle over, the wall behind the sink. And let me just add, I am not that vigorous of a shaker as I have negligible upper body strength.I was so excited to have this great solid mixer ball in a container that was small enough for my serving sizes - and now. . . Now I'm wondering if the mixer ball in a Nalgene bottle wouldn't be better.

Bottom Cracks and leaks
This is the 2nd bottle I purchase that has cracked on the bottom. The 1st lasted awhile before this happened but this one I've only had for less then a month. And of course it happened a day after the return window closed so I'm stuck. I'm reading that there's a Lifetime warranty on all Contigo shaker so I would greatly appreciate any info on how to redeem that warranty

Great design
Shaker ball is a substantial weight and it really helps mixing ingredients by spinning and rolling around. The only negative is that the materials are plastic. Glass or stainless steel are better food and drink containers, but this could be the ideal plastic option
