Very good little device. It doesn’t come with batteries, so you’ll need 2 AAA batteries to get started, but once they’re in it’s ready to go straight away. It’s really easy to use, just pop it on your finger, press the button & it quickly shows your oxygen saturation and pulse rate. The display is clear and easy to read. A handy piece of equipment to have at home for peace of mind.

I recently purchased the AILE Pulse Oximeter, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision! Ok, I very nearly sent this back to Amazon as faulty, as this thing seemed to have a mind of its own and only worked half of the time. But I now know why that is. Others have said it only works half of the time, but I noticed it only ever seemed to malfunction when I was out and about. it turns out, ambient light is the issue! If you try to use it in strong sunlight it will not work, you have to shield it or the outside light will interfere with the IR sensor and stop it from functioning. Indoors it works fine, but out in the field, when around strong light, cup the Oximeter in your hand to block-out surrounding light and it will work just fine - The thing uses light signatures to work, so this makes sense. But still yeah, I very nearly sent it back to Amazon. Also just to note, after enquiring about returning the item the seller was very generous with their offers of compensation. So that's worth an extra star! Make of this review what you will.

Awful, the quality is very poor. After arrival I placed the monitor on my finger and the spring holding the two halves together pinged out. After inspection, it became obvious that this happened as the monitor is very cheaply made. The spring was hooked onto a tiny, flimsy piece of plastic beneath the rubber. Multiple attempts to reattach it were made but it continued to slip off thus making it unusable.

Really handy as husband had to monitor oxygen levels daily, worked well

Device worked fine for about a year, then suddenly stopped working altogether. Tried a few things but it wouldn’t produce readings any more. Disappointing.
