It went a long way from Amaon to South Korea and arrived on Christmas Day. To my pleasant surprise, Hillie (that's her name) has no problem in using the house since its hinged door is very similar to the doggy door we have. She seems to like it too - she spontaneously uses the house. My other dogs are also very much interested (but it'll be tough to buy more. It is almost doubled in price with shipping and custom tax). I think the dog house is real well built once they give you the screws which were missing originally. : ) I liked the venting and the ability to have the whole door in place or partial. My dog like to lay in it and look out. We also purchased the heater, which I am not happy with as it is HARD and they say to lay it on top of the pad we bought for the inside and I don't think it is comfortable for the dog. I was hoping it might act like radiant heat for the insulated dog house. I was originally thinking it could be put under the pad or that perhaps it was softer like a heating pad but then the liability of the dog chewing on the soft pad with wires...yada, yada. I get it. So I think for the heating pad I would look for something else. The dog house though, is great! And we are in California so where we are no snow, but because of the insulation it is warmer for our sometimes freezing temps. in the valley.

My dog loves her house and she is outside all day while at work. I put her bed and lots of blankets inside for her. I’ll be putting the bottom half of the door on once it gets cold enough to need it. She should figure it out eventually. I even thought about adding insulation on the inside after I saw a guy post he added insulation filler in between the walls for his dog. He was in really cold climate and he said it was a big difference so he didn’t have to add a heater. I got a thermometer to put inside so I can monitor the temperature while I’m at work just to see if it needs additional insulation as I mentioned above. I haven’t put it in yet but I’ll try it soon. Weather is still nice so I’m waiting. My dog is a sissy so this might happen. Overall it’s a really great doghouse, my dog loves it, it looks really nice and blends nicely with our patio furniture too. I highly recommend getting one. Pricey but worth every penny.

This Item is perfect for me. I have to admit that I did a bit of a hack because I didn't use the house for my dogs (although they do like it). I ended up using this structure as an insulated well cover. We didn't want to do the typical fake plastic rock thing you commonly see. This house actually looks similar to our house, and fits perfectly around our pump and expansion tank. See pictures. So I painted it up to look like a log cabin using masking tape and spray paint. It's been a hit. I did also line the interior with 3/4" insulation board to make it extra insulated. Keeps our well from freezing up in the winter. May want to market these as well covers too!

The house is OK but it didn't come with the heated floor... Waiting the seller respond my claim

This is the best dog house ever. Fully insulated from heat and cold. Water tight, accommodates a large dog. Throw in some cedar wood chips that are bug proof over the heater and you are good to go. Our dog loves it year around from summer to cold nights in Michigan winters. The heater doesn't seem to affect our bill much either

Arrived ahead of schedule. Very easy to assemble, did it by myself in about 40 min. Took about another 20-30 min to get my dogs trained to go in/out. I bought one large version of this house for two medium size dogs and there is plenty of space inside for both of them. I live in the South where the winter is relatively mild most of the time, although it does drop below freezing quite often, so I just filled the inside of the house with wheat straw and their body heat keeps it really warm due to insulated panels. If we have an unusually cold winter I will buy an electric heating pad (there is an outlet in the rear for an electric cord) and I think that would keep the house warm even if the outside temp dropped into the teens. As I mentioned the house is large, but because of the plastic material, it is very light and I can easily move it by myself. Although it is made of plastic, it is well designed and very sturdy and I believe it will last for a long time. Most importantly, my dogs love the house, so I would highly recommend this product.

Our dog Shadow was a howler when she was outside. We built her a dog house, and she continued to howl. So we purchased this one, in the hopes that she would be comfortable. She LOVES it! We also got the heater. We live in Louisiana, so I was concerned about it being cool on the hotter days. It is cool on hot days and warm on cold days. I highly recommend this dog house! It is worth the price.
