LLC High Speed 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub (VA-4HB-MMI)

* Do not buy and waste your money!! ** - Just wanted to put that line first for a quick look. Did not buy on amazon but putting up review here for comparisons, etc. Luckily I got it off of one of deal sites but still waste of money for a less than $5 shipped. Knowing the cables are way too short for any sort of use, but I got this anyway just to have something handy for traveling if you forget your main cables. My (HTC) phone does not get recognized in Windows 7 and complains about plugging it in a 2.0 USB port to make it run faster, which it already is. This is not a drivers issue or PC issue. Folks go crazy trying to diagnose such issues. With mainstream phones connected via a micro-usb port, this is a simple connection. On a side note, you get what you pay for, but this particular product sold by this company and fulfilled by Amazon just seems like a complete rip-off. I hope consumers these days compare prices. I can't believe such businesses put up such products for ridiculous prices. Hope this helps out! ! Be aware, compare and look up prices and reviews!!

Tried this product twice from Menard's. The iPod/iPad port broke apart on first hub when disconnected from the iPod the first time it was used. I tried a second adapter that refused to even fit the iPod Touch port Vibe 4-Port Genius Hub With iPhone & iPod Port . All the other ports worked fine, but I wanted the iPod port to hook up to my laptop that has limited USB ports.

This product would be very great idea only if it works. Regular USB did not work. It would work as Cel phone charger. I did not try furthermore because regular USB did not work properly.
