Bought for backpacking!
I bought these to add to our oatmeal and chia seed pudding on backpacking trips. It was the perfect amount of fruit per pack and provided a nice variety!

These are just OK.
It was my own fault. I expected these to be freeze dried. They are not. They are more like strawberry raisins. There is nothing wrong with them for what they are, but I don't like them.

I thought they were dried but it had the texture of a raised but fresh and sweet.
I like the texture but i wish it wasn't so sweet. It reminds me of strawberry jam!

I like it!
I really like these dried cranberries!I usually buy dried cranberries from Costco, until someone recommended this product to me.Comparing with the ones I got from Costco, these are less sweet, which is more tasteful to me.In addition, these came with small packs so that you don't need to worry about not able to finish after opening and flavor got lost as time lasts.Overall, I highly recommend this product!

Crunches from all the added sugar.
Texture is similar to plump raisins. Not good due to sooo much added sugar. Why is there any added sugar? Each small package has 10g ADDED sugar, giving it a total of 20g of sugar per 1oz/28g serving. Tastes pretty gross

Mix of fruits; added sugar and sunflower oil; sweet and tart - flavor kind of blends together
Included are 6 smallish pouches of dried berries– basically the raisin version of the following fruits: cranberries, blueberries, cherries and grapes. You’ll notice that I mentioned grapes, and dried grapes are raisins. Well, these include golden raisins, not the brown variety you might be used to. What’s the difference between regular raisins and golden raisins, then? Are golden raisins made from green grapes and regular raisins made from purple grapes? While I can’t speak for the grapes used to make these specific raisins, when it comes to other companies, such as the dominant one that sells raisins in red cartons, the same exact grapes are used for both – green Thompson Seedless grapes. It’s the drying process that gives you brown raisins, which are dried in the sun for 3 weeks, versus golden raisins, which are dried in large dehydrators with controlled temperatures and humidity levels. Also, golden raisins are treated with sulfur dioxide, which is listed as an ingredient on the package of this product. So, I think it’s very likely that these golden raisins are the same raisins that are used to make brown raisins but have been dried and treated differently. Apparently this treatment process not only affects the color but also the flavor, with golden raisins supposedly having a lighter, fruitier flavor. They are, supposedly, also healthier than brown raisins. The sulfur dioxide is supposed to be an antioxidant and preservative.Anyway, like most raisins, at least the brown variety, the fruit here isn’t just dried fruit. In the case of everything except the golden raisins, there is added sugar and added sunflower oil. I’m assuming that the oil keeps things moist so that they don’t get dry and hard. I’ve come to the conclusion that dried blueberries and dried cherries don’t really taste like blueberries and cherries (can’t comment on cranberries as I’ve never had a fresh cranberry, though I can tell you that I can taste the tartness of the dried cranberries here). But as I thought about this, I realized that raisins don’t really taste like grapes, and prunes don’t really taste like plums, so why should dried blueberries and cherries taste like blueberries and cherries? So, if you like the fresh versions of these fruits, I can’t say if you’d really like this product. The things that aren’t raisins don’t necessarily taste like raisins either, so if you like raisins, you might not necessarily like these. I personally like raisins and fresh blueberries and fresh cherries, and I would say that I like both of those better than these. That’s not to say that I dislike these, but I don’t love them. I think they are fine, but I think I’d rather have them as part of a mix of things rather than eat a bag of just these. Generally, the way they are all stuck together, I feel like I get just a homogeneous blob of dried sweet and slightly tart fruit. You can try to separate each piece individually and see if you can get more distinct flavors, and when you do that, you can taste a difference, but it also feels like it all sort of blends together. I would say that I like this better than the bags that were just dried blueberries. Still, mixing this with granola or something would be better.

A Little On The Tart Side
I lived in blueberry country for years, so I had a ready supply of large, sweet blueberries. During that time, I developed a true love for them. I get fresh when I can, but that’s not always possible. When I saw Fresh Elements Dried Blueberries (1.2 oz x 6 packs), I decided to give them a try to get my blueberry fix when fresh aren’t as readily available. These come in, what I suppose, is single serve packs. There is about ¼ cup in each bag. The expiration date is out a little over a year. I kind of expected a longer expiration time on a dried product, but they won’t be lasting that long anyway. Depending on how you intend to use these, that may be a consideration.I got these primarily to snack on directly. I wasn’t planning on using them in cooking. I found them to be a bit on the tart side. They do have a sweet taste to them, but there is also a tartness. It’s a bit more than I personally like, so I’m not snacking on these by themselves. I’ve been pairing them with other things, like nuts, cheese or low sugar dark chocolate. I’m finding I like them better that way. They are dried to the moisture level I expected.I realize that these are probably meant to be single-serve pouches, but I don’t eat a whole pouch at one time. I would really have liked for these pouches to have been resealable to better keep them fresh. These have actually gone up $1 in price from when I got them and are currently selling for $14.79 (March 2021). The current price would be pushing it for me. I expect to pay a bit more when products are sold in small quantity packaging, but I don’t think I’d be willing to pay the asking price. Maybe if they had been more sweet. For the price when I got them and the quality of the product, I’d have to give them an almost 4 star.
