Brilliant idea! I first bought one and liked it so much I bought the set of three. Among other advantages, the bookbone keeps paperbacks (in particular) in good condition -- no more cracked spines from trying to force them to lie open. It's the only such gadget I know of that is usable when you have only one hand free -- even turning the pages works, with a little practice. Works everywhere: desk, dining table, bed, beach. The delivery to Europe was fast and problem-free.

I purchased one of these recently and found it very handy. The only problem I had with it, was I found someone who needed it more than I did and gave it away within a week. I have a relative who suffers from extensive nerve damage in her hands and let her give it a try. She found it very easy to use and helpful for books big and small. It grips well but doesn't damage or mark the pages.Customer service was really good as well, I had some questions and the maker was prompt and courteous.I have just ordered a 3-pack to replace my original order. Highly recommended. Great gift for avid readers as well or for readers with nerve damage, arthritis, or other painful/debilitating hand problems.

I've wanted one of these for a while but it was $9 + $4 shipping which seemed exorbitant. When they finally had free shipping I relented and bought one. It smelled like dirt the first couple days I had it but I don't notice it anymore. It's been very handy, I use it almost every day. Four stars because it won't work as pictured with every book. Some books just don't open as wide but I don't like to bend my covers. If you're not willing to crack the spine, on those books the BookBone is worse than using your hands. I've only had trouble with one of my books so far, so it's still worth the purchase. This is a great purchase for anyone who gets wrist pain while holding books.

You know, I wanted to like it, but it's too sticky and too floppy. If only it had less flexibility, which can rip pages, and also was a little less sticky. Hmm. My iPhone with it's rubber bumper is still my go-to book-page holder.

These are great they work well, have good weight to hold open the book, and the rubber is nice because they don't slide down the book if you have your book at an angle. Much better value for the money than what you would pay at Levendger if you are just looking for something that works well.

Such a great product! I used it frequently when writing my thesis and hated when I didn't have it handy. I don't think it did any noticeable damage to my books either, and I'm a bit particular about that. I like too that it's a rubbery material, so you don't have to worry about it sliding if you prop the book up. This would make a great gift for students or others in your life who frequently need to have books propped open to a particular page.

This is one of those rare products that's simple in design, easy to use, and fit for purpose. The weighted ends hold books open exactly where you want them to be so that you can type on your computer, instead of trying to pin the pages down with books and other heavy objects. You'll love it!

Terrible toxic smell - couldn't use it. Beware that there is no refund for the item. I got a refund for it anyway.
