I love this - colour, performance and size
Excellent machine. It replaces my old one after a good number of years of use, which started to leak. I love this one - the colour, performance and size. It’s much smaller than my old one, takes up much less room. The only downside is that the water holder is smaller so needs filling more frequently. But for me that’s no big issue and is far outweighed by the benefits/ improvements. Highly recommended.

Very happy
Really pleased with this. Have had a different machine for a few years and not really liked the coffee available for it. Then the other one died and this was on offer so I ordered it. Well worth it - the coffees and hot chocolate I've tried are all lovely.

Very poor instructions but it does make perfect coffee.
I love this gadget and delighted that I got it for less than fifty pounds. I see the price has gone up a little but it's still more than half the price of buying it on their website.I have knocked a star off because of the silly instructions. There's no written guide, just lots of pictures. I had to go to You Tube to find step by step instructions for using it. Once you have seen the video, it is very easy to use. Give it a clean for three sessions and then add the pod upside down and start it.Considering Bosch is such a big organisation, I can see no reason why they didn't add a succession of videos to help their customers. Clearly, they could not be bothered to do this. In fact, it annoys me to the extent that I'll knock off two stars, rather than one. People should be aware that this uses very hot water and some pressure so you need to be clear about using it. Yes, two stars docked for this avoidable failing.Instructions aside, I have to say it performs brilliantly and it hosts some amazing technology. It pours a coffee much quicker than you could with a kettle and some gold blend. It's brilliant and the coffee is as good as a coffee shop could make. It's dead easy to use - once you know how to use it.You can shop around for pods and you can get 80 servings for less than twenty pounds. Shops seem to sell them at around four pounds for 16 servings and my wife got Costa Latte from Aldi for two pounds. You need to shop around for the cheapest and that is not from the Tassimo web page.So far, I have tried Americano and Latte and they do taste great, no question, it's as good as Costa and a fraction of the price. I love the coffee this produces. I've ordered 80 servings of the breakfast coffee, around seventeen pounds and it should be here tomorrow. If you are a fan of coffee then you should consider this. I've bought an Aeropress for thirty pounds, an Oomph for forty pounds, a French press for just under forty pounds and a filter set for twenty pounds. I really wish I had bought the Tassimo at the beginning because it beats everything else hands down. Perfect coffee.I was reluctant to buy this a year ago because I didn't like the cost of pods but the price is going down all the time. It is an affordable treat now.I saw from some of the reviews that some pods exploded or didn't work. I don't know why this happens but it hasn't happened to me. I guess if you are careful and make sure the pod is properly seated and it's cleaned regularly then you can minimise the rogue pods.If you like coffee, then you can't beat this for perfect coffee every time, but shop around, try and get it for less than fifty pounds.

Easy to use and cheap(ish) to run.
This machine is so simple to use even my 4 year old can make hot chocolate with it (under supervision). One button operation, hold the button down for hot water. It even tells you if you have enough water before it will start a pod. Cleaning is easy, just pick up a set of cleaning brushes that will get in the nozzle and you should be fine. The cleaning/descaling tablets are fairly cheap and available from the Tassimo store. I find the americarno type or be very consistent. The Costa, Kenco ones are on the smoother side but the LOR XL is the more bitter Italian style. I’d assume the espresso would be the same but I haven’t tested it.I’m not a fan of the milk capsules. They’re OK but definitely not as good as real milk. The Tassimo site is good. The only problem with it is your 2 discount codes are under machine registration, took me a while find. The offers also cancel each other out but once you understand what’s what you can make it work for you. I’ve never had to pay full price for an order with £10 off £30 order, 30% discount, bulk buy discount etc... being available regularly. They also have all the pods to chose from, unlike the supermarket. The pods can be recycled but the drop in stations are a bit sparse. I’m guessing this will improve over time as retailers get involved.I’ve never had a problem with Bosch. My oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are all Bosch and never let me down. I can’t see this simple but effective machine letting me down either. It’s so good it’s gonna be my go to Xmas Present for a few people.

Super duper Coffee Macine!
I do not dislike one thing about the Vivy2! I have had a Dolce Gusto machine for the last 4 years and this Tassimo beats it by miles. The colour, cream, is lovely and the smaller compact size suits my kichen. The barcode system is fab, no more having to stand by to switch off! Ingenious! I love the Latte and Capucino, some reviewers dislike the milk taste but we love it. So many pluses from me, buy one you won't regret it.
