Coway AIRMEGA Max 2 Air Purifier Replacement Filter Set for 300/300S, green/black, 1256 sq. ft. (3111635)

I had no issues replacing the filter on my Coway. I liked that the filter fit perfectly and is exactly like the one that came with the machine. I haven't replaced it in a year and a half of having the machine (my first Coway) and the light just came on to replace the filter. I've been regularly cleaning the mesh filter every time that light goes on. You press and hold the lit Wash icon to reset the special timer on the Wash lights. Pros to using this replacement: It doesn't void the warranty on the machine. It is fully tested with the machine so you know it won't damage it. It is clearly the same item so you know the quality and can compare the old one with the new one and see it really is kind of worn after a year and half of working. I know it fits and no air is getting through the filter on the sides, like I saw happens for some third party filters. Cons to using this replacement: It is very expensive! If you are replacing this more often than I am, it is going to cost a lot. I was going to buy a cheaper option, but when I thought about how expensive the machine was to begin with, I figured why would I go with a cheaper filter now and make that whole purchase pointless?! Just my thoughts anyway!

I completely renovated my condo a year and a half ago and the dust was horrendous so naturally I blew through the first filter set in about 6 months...eek. Anyways, when I ordered this filter I was happy to see that the quality was just as good as the first and the price was much nicer than what I could find elsewhere online. It has now been almost a year since I bought the replacement filter and it's still chugging along so good to know I won't have to replace them every 6 months!! The airmega has been a life saver (less allergies and dust)! Also ignore the dustiness in the pic, it's due to be cleaned out (pro tip: hand vac your carbon filter when you clean out the mesh filter in order to get a longer life out of it).

I was a little shocked when Amazon pulled up with this huge box. This air cleaner is the size of a small end table. the good thing is that the intake is from the sides and the exhaust is from the top, so you can put it up against a wall. Very quick and easy to install. Change the outer filters frequently. You will be amazed how much dust gets trapped in those filters. Be careful when you pull them out to clean them. You can shake the dust off fairly easily. I run the filters under the kitchen sink weekly. The HEPA filter cartridges are also easy to install but very expensive. They only need to be changed twice a year (depending on your usage and how dusty your home is). This is an expensive air cleaner that is fairly quiet on low settings. If you crank it up to a high setting, it is pretty loud. I will sometime crank it up and leave the room for a while.

I always purchase the original replacement of the air filters for my Coway Air Purifier. They just work better than the "off" brand and last a long time.

-both the filters and the unit were expensive but it keeps the air markedly cleaner in my room and dust free. There is virtually no dander from two dogs either. It’s an exceptional investment.

These are the factory replacement filters, so fitment was as expected. A bit pricey for having to replace every 6 months, but if you want clean air, that's the price you pay.
