AIMS Power 5000 Watt 48V DC to 120V AC Industrial Pure Sine Power Inverter

I have two of these providing 220 V 50 Amp running one for each leg/line of service in Puerto Rico. I have been fully off grid for the last 3 months which was necessary due to the faulty and dirty power supplied by the power company which has been worse since Hurricanes Irma and Maria. I had one short out of my own fault and the company replaced it under warranty...I only paid shipping. 5 star would mean the lug connections need to be spaced a bit further apart to allow 6 gauge wire lugs to connect and also a higher startup load for longer period and a split phase piggy back option. They are super efficient though and easy enough replace the included fuses if you do something wrong. the GFCI outlets and 60amp trip switch make them hard to hurt. Well done.

excellent... Upgrade from 12v to 48v... working perfectly in my solar system in Puerto Rico... Is a little bit noisy but is normal due to the thermal fans.

I can now hear an internal fan starting to go. It is the one deep inside for the mosfets. I can hear it start, then rattle really bad , then stop and repeat. Other than that it is a good inverter. But now I'll have to open it up and replace the fan before it causes more damage. That's going to be some work as it is mounted and hard wired.

I purchased 2 and so far they are working to my expectations. Because they won't work in parallel to make 240 volts, I have purchased a third inverter split phase 120/240 volts. The system is now running my whole house which is 95%Electric.
