I thought this was electric. K bought 2 of these then I realized the description only said it was a blanket. My biggest complaint about this Product is that they bribe you with a 20.00 amazon gift card and tell you not to put on your review. I found that rather upsetting. I don’t know why companies do this kind of promotion. It is not right! The blanket is soft and a bit heavy. It is not antistatic like it says. I recommend if you want a heavy soft/ fleece blanket. I like it but it was not what I was wanting. I only kept the blanket because I used it during the winter polar vortex storm and didnt want to resend it. I recommend this Professor because it is a decent blanket and has a little weight to it. I wish they didnt bribe their customers to give a good review.

I sifted through many blankets and their reviews before settling on this one, and I could not be happier. When I first got it, there was a handwritten thank you note, which was really nice since ordering here can be very impersonal. When I took it out of the package my first thought was it’s really soft but thinner than expected, but for the price I’d give it a try. The softness is important to me because I sleep with it right against my skin. I washed it exactly according to the instructions, dried it on low and there was almost no lint in the dryer. At that point I’m impressed, but skeptical. Well, I have no words to describe how awesome this blanket feels against my skin. It’s lightweight, yet it still keeps me warm, but not overheated (because hot flashes suck). Since I’ve had it, I’ve washed it 3 times by itself, mostly according to the washing instructions (I used cool to lukewarm water instead of cold the last 2 times). The important part is drying it on LOW no matter how long it takes (or air-drying). That is the secret to keeping all things super soft and fuzzy, super soft. It still gives off almost no lint, and I haven’t experienced the crazy shedding some people experience with other blankets. Overall it’s holding up well, and I’m definitely getting another one!

What an amazing blanket!! I bought 2 for our new motorhome to use as something to grab and cuddle up in. They are everyone’s favorite, the first one everyone wants. So much so, that I should buy 2 more so everyone has one. Both sides are extremely soft and haven’t pilled a bit, and they have been washed often. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase!!

This is by far the best purchase I’ve made and to top it off the shipping was fast. The blanket is better than I expected, very comfortable, so soft and perfect for all seasons. I was nervous about the white fleece leaving lint everywhere but it’s exactly as described and does not shed like other blankets I’ve had. This is everyone’s favorite blanket in the house and I will be purchasing more so I can actually use it now that my son has claimed this one….not that I blame him. It’s pretty amazing. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

My dad has shoulder and hand issues, as with most blankets that we found it would keep him warm but, would be way too heavy for him to lift off himself when he would turn over in his sleep, causing him to wake up and struggle to situate the blankets. This blanket was very warm, beautiful and most important, Light Weight. My dad is very happy with this blanket and is able to roll over without struggling with the blankets hence getting more sleep by not having to wake up so often.Kathy G

This blanket exceeded my expectations! Perfect size, very warm, and super soft! I would still consider it to be a light weight blanket but it also a little heavier than expected which makes it even better for warmth and comfort!

I was looking for a good, thick, plush blanket like this because all the other ones I’ve come across were too thin. This one was better than expected it to be and everyone in the house fights over to use it lol. Its so soft and comfortable, and has a good thickness. It’s great and will be getting more in the future!

Soft and light. Everyone in my house steals blankets. Hopefully I can keep this one for at least this evening. It's doubtful. This is so soft and cuddly, I do not have a prayer. I will also point out that I thought it was an electric blanket. I don’t know why it pops up in that list.
