Wheeler Engineering Roll Pin Starter Punch Set for Gunsmithing

These are one of my most used tools, when working on firearms. These punches really help prevent damaging the firearm, when getting the roll pin started. They make dealing with tight fitting roll much easier. Hint: Apply a drop of oil to the roll pin, prior to insertion. This will help prevent damage and ease the process. The oil will also help prevent future rusting of the pin.

Seems sturdy so far. No bent punches despite some other reviews.

They work fine. I had no idea they were hollow in the center. They work great for the roll pins I removed. Do wish they were solid and not hollow.

Used the 5/16 punch. Worked perfectly without issues.

These WILL RUST so be careful and put oil or wax on them. Excellent tools that do what they are designed to do.

Quality tools. Well worth it. Would buy again.

I should have bought these years ago. Such a fantastic and useful tool. They hold the pins perfoams with a dab of grease on the tool end of the pin it holds in the tool perfectly for those odd angles. Very well made and feel great in the hand.

Makes starting rolls pins a dream! Sped up my rifle building process greatly.

Made in china. They do their job. It would be nice to have the sizes etched on the punches.
