Finding red currant jelly is amazingly hard these days. It used to be used in a number of recipes as well as bringing toast to life. That was in the days when good taste was a good thing. These days it seems what you must put in your body has to be rank or completely tasteless. Thanks for allowing this old fart to re-live the good old days and good old foods.

Great taste. Too expensive. I'd buy again only in a pinch.

I grew up eating Smucker's red currant jelly on biscuits and toast in the 80s and recently got a craving for this nostalgic combo. Sadly, Smucker's discontinued it years ago and no one seems to make any that are sold in grocery stores. So I tried this one from Amazon and it certainly didn't disappoint. It absolutely tastes exactly like the good ol' stuff I was used to, but even better! I baked some homemade buttermilk biscuits to eat it with and the jelly was a perfect match. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend and will definitely be buying more.

Expensive but hard to find and good!

A bit tart but That’s the Beautiful of red currant jelly. I can’t find it in the store anymore and use it in a red currant and mustard sauce over t the Holidays. It arrived unbroken and sealed closed. The cost is a bit pricey.
