Why has the price of the original tiffany perfume tripled in price? also just received the new tiffany perfume and will be returning it! i'm not fond

I wrote to Tiffany's corporate office to inquire about their discontinuing the original scent which was very popular and sold well. I asked why they would displace a "winner" with a poor substitute which has an awful scent. Associates in the Tiffany store..who admitted they were getting negative responses to the new scent... were unable to provide a reason. The response from corporate stated that in 2017 they entered into a contract with Coty and were contractually obligated to drop the original scent made by another company. Bad decision on Tiffany's part.

Does it have a musky smell or floral or woodsy? Or can someone describe its smell please

I find it more high toned floral. It is a very strong smell but mixes well with the body chemistry. Its a statement and people always notice it.
