Good product, had an issue with Dolby on and no rear speakers, but easy fix
The sound is crisp and clear, the subwoofer has some kick, and it's an overall good product. I deduct a star only because I am not using the rear speakers and with Dolby on some channels are really loud on the TV and others are quiet, but when I change it to PCM, everything is normal. It might be fine if I had the rear speakers set up, maybe it decodes the Dolby thinking the rest are there so it removes some channels. Again, I'm not very knowledgeable on how those sound outputs work and why that would cause me a problem on only some channels, but it was not expected. My setup uses optical out from a Samsung UN55KS8000 SUHD TV and is also connected with HDMI so it turns on/off automatically. The soundbar is very sleek and sits below the TV on its legs, the great part is it clears the small protrusion from the TV where the optical sensor is to turn on the TV. One think I did notice was that the wattage advertised from the speakers is more than the power supply states, so I'm not sure where those numbers come from.Overall I recommend the product, I don't think the rear speakers are necessary for a living room. If you want surround sound in a room you should purchase a real 7.1 or 7.2 system as there is no substitute. If you want to simply reach all areas of a larger room, or if your living room setup works with it, I'm sure the rear speakers are just fine.

A really good speaker bar set.
A great addition to a great TV picture. I originally purchased the Amazon Basic Sound Bar. It was better than the TV speakers, but not by much. This one is perfect for Samsung TVs. The sound is good for TV shows but really shines with movies. It even helps sports. It comes with the bar, two front satellite speakers and a sub woofer. They connect with Bluetooth to most Samsung TVs and are easy to set up. First, attach the 2 front speakers to their Bluetooth box with the enclosed wires. No screwdriver needed. Next, plug the bar, the subwoofer and front speaker box into a wall outlet. Put the battery in the remote, turn on the speakers and turn on your TV. That's it.( you do have to turn on your TV's Bluetooth) Read the manual and adjust the speakers to your liking.

Was good while it lasted
Worked real well for a while.. I had bought it for myself then gave it to my brother.. He loved it and used it quite a bit... but ended up buying a 4K TV and the soundbar seemed to make the TV screen go black and caused problems for him so he had to sell it, seemed to have problems with Newer 4K TV'S. So you may want to look for a newer model. Samsung Soundbars are excellent though normally and I know many that use them. Always read the reviews before you make a decision.

Slightly Aggravated...
This Soundbar (K-470), along with the Samsung SUHD 50" TV, is an upgrade from our previous Samsung 42" tv with HW-C450 from about six years ago. While I loved the sound and picture quality on that paring, I had a connectivity issue. Hoping that a newer system wouldn't have this issue, I decided to but this soundbar. But, after installing everything, the issue is still there! This isn't a new thing, either. From what I've read, many other people have the same exact issue. When using the DirectTV Universal remote to turn the system on, it defaults to HDMI, (which I have connected to HDMI ARC) but within a couple seconds the speaker switches to D-IN connection and the screen goes black. Nothing is connected to D-IN, but it keeps going there. I manually switch input back to HDMI. After a few seconds, it switches a second time. I, again, manually switch it back. The only way to avoid this nonsense, apparently, is to turn off the AnyNet feature. But then, I have to use two to three remotes to get everything going, and the whole point of buying this as a pair, was to use only one remote. I had hoped this issue would have been resolved by Samsung, after SIX YEARS. However, after extensive research, and hair pulling, apparently it's still an issue. WHY? Why can't I just turn the TV and Soundbar on, and have it stay on the connect that I last had? It keeps wanting to default to a connection that isn't even being used. The rear speakers are very quiet. I breathe louder. The DirectTV volume is lower than the Netflix feed, for some reason. I didn't have that problem with the older soundbar. Love the sound of the speakers, through Netflix, tho. If there was a way to adjust the volume and the balance on the rear speakers, they'd have a home run. Doesn't seem like an reasonable request. I can do it in my truck. But as a whole, I'm glad I didn't pay full price. I really expected more from Samsung. They're kinda bummin me out, right now. C'mon man!

yet had great sound. After doing some research I settled for ...
I bought this to replace an older DVD home theater system that did not have optical input. I wanted something that was as unobtrusive as possible, yet had great sound. After doing some research I settled for this model, as it comes equipped with the rear speaker kit, which is an option with the other Samsung models. It paired immediately with my Samsung TV and has great sound- so much better than those tinny TV speakers that face backwards! The sub-woofer connects via bluetooth, as does the rear speaker kit, so placement is much easier. I have my TV on a media cabinet, and the thin sound bar sits in front with room to spare.

Sounds good to me
I use this on a TV in the office. It is a vast improvement over the TV speakers. It is good for my use, it is not intended for high quality audiophile listening.

Very good on HD channels
Good sound hooked up via bluetooth. Hooked up via HDMI only channels broadcast in HD had good volume. If the channel wasn't broadcast in HD, the sound level dropped way off that you had to turn the volume up to hear it. Otherwise it sounds good.
