Worth the extra
Needed to buy my daughter a chromebook for school. Whilst some of the basic models on the market are less than £200 i think its worth paying a bit more for a device that is powerful and has large 128GB storage to make it last her as long as possible. Its well built aluminium? construction is very sturdy and comparable to a macbook at 3 times the price. Its apparently Military Standard tested so should be up to the task in a busy school environment. Touchscreen is responsive and HD. Added benefit of 360 fold is better than the flip models that only fold 275. can use it like a tablet.

The chromebook is fast, compact and thin.
It is great for studying/watching movies/ business, however if you need it for larger systems, get a Windows or Mac.

Not as advertised
This is a nice Chromebook and has the feel of an expensive machine. However, I bought this as it supposedly had an HDMI output, which it didn't. If this isn't a problem for you, then it's a recommended purchase. It was for me, so I returned it. Amazon should update their info to reflect the lack of HDMI output.

Bought 3 of them. All loose Wi-fi. Returned them
