Perfect second bike kit for my Cateye Strada. Better price than online from Cateye themselves! Works perfectly.

Easy to install and connect to the main computer.
Step by step instruction included, easy to install (extremely when you have this as your 2nd set since you have done it with the 1st; LOL). The main bike computer will need some setting done to allow this set be readable as 2nd set; once the setting is done, the computer picked up the signal as 2nd input right away.

Cateye support is non-responsive
I purchased this as a replacement sensor to connect to a Cateye Strada Double Wireless computer. It will not sync with the computer (I’ve tried two batteries). When calling Cateye support it goes to voicemail, which indicates they may not call back for up to 3 days. I have left 3 messages over the last 15 days and have yet to receive a return call. Very disappointed in this company.

This kit was purchased to supplement the Strada 430 to put on a second bike. It arrived ahead of schedule and was easy to put on the second bike but I have yet to have it operate correctly. I even downloaded Cateye's iPhone app for the installation, followed the instructions on this which were far more helpful than what came with either the bike computer or the kit. The kit still doesn't work. If this kit worked it would easily be a Five Star.

Update...I have changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars due to the seller accepting the returned item and replacing with a new (working fine) unit in a very satisfactory time frame...........Product arrived a day earlier than scheduled, which was nice, but.....I bought this for a 2nd bike so I could simply port my computer back and forth from one bike to another. I Have tried over a dozen times to get it to sync and it simply will not. Reading other reviews, I now see this is a common problem. I will call Cateye directly to see if they have any way to get it to work. Short of that happening I plan to return the item to the seller. Call Cateye CS for help with pairing or see the manual
The review with the customer service number was what I needed. 1.800.522.8393. On the pairing screen you have to hold the mode button down for 2 seconds to get to the actual pairing screen for the Cateye Strada Digital Wireless. Then you can pair easily. Here is a pic of the relevant portion from the manual.

Got mine to work.
Received my kit today. Couldn't get the sensor to sync like a lot of others. Called Cateye customer service and was synced up in 5 minutes. Please don't ask how I did it. When I get my second bike will be calling cs back. 1.800.522.8393 in Boulder, CO.
