Perfect GoPro mount for motorcycle helmets!
I have been looking and debating on a mount for my motorcycle helmet ever since getting my GoPro Hero 10. I was worried after reading all the reviews of the cheaper alternatives breaking and falling off, and I definitely didn’t want to use one of the sticky GoPro mounts on my Shoei race helmet. Plus I’ve never really trusted a sticky mount to hold an expensive camera and hold it without it falling off at high speeds. That’s where this mount comes in! It’s just what I was looking for. It is more expensive, but the quality is leaps and bounds above the competition. It is designed extremely well, and made here in the USA. It’s super easy to install, and even has a safety lanyard that attaches to your chin strap just in case it was to come off.I took it out for a test ride tonight. It went mostly well, but did have trouble staying in place on my Shoei helmet at around 70 mph.To be fair, my Shoei is a slick helmet with a very sharp front and hardly anywhere for the grip to hold onto. It’s a race helmet, and didn’t work as well as I had hoped. With that said, it fits amazing on my HJC Rpha 11 Pro helmet like it was designed specifically for that helmet. The HJC has vents in the front, and the grip of the mount conforms right around everything. It also grips perfectly on the inside piece as well. It’s on there so strong that you can literally hold the helmet by the mount. So I will start using my HJC when I motovlog and want to use the mount.Overall, it’s a great product that will fit most helmets, but not all helmets.Great craftsmanship, and a great product!

Very stable.
Your camera is not falling off. You just need to adjust your camera to the desired angle prior to placement. Once you remove it then you’ll have to figure it out again. No issues with stability. I have a modular helmet (shoei) & it works fine. It fits wells. The design could be an issue with certain helmets.

Securely Doing Its Job
Put the GoPro clamp to the test and it worked like a charm. Kept my camera firmly attached to my helmet, even with the wind hitting it straight on. Easy to clamp on and take off. Great gadget!

Fun for vlogging
The media could not be loaded. I need to get another bike so I can make more videos. Some people say these will poke you in the chest if you fall. That worries me a bit. I like it because people can hear me better with it on my helmet. I don’t have to leave a camera mounted to my helmet either. I can take it off when not wanting to record stuff.

Had tried other solutions, was skeptical - and very pleasantly impressed!!
So, this mount was recommended by a YouTube channel I follow, and on its face it seemed pretty convenient and simple, but a little expensive for what it was; (yet) another GoPro (or whatever camera you have) mount for a motorcycle helmet... I guess I still think it's a little pricey for what it does, but when you consider how simple it is to use (or NOT use), it really turns that argument on it's head. I pretty much keep my camera attached to the mount, and leave the camera and mount in my tank bag when not in use. Keep that in mind, you DON'T have to have a mount permanently attached to your helmet with this. I don't always feel like riding around with a camera on my chin, so it can stay safely in my tank bag when I don't wanna look like a wannabe content creator. When I feel like it's time to record a ride, it's literally just a matter of clamping it to the chin bar of my helmet. I'm talking seconds to setup, max! The fit is good, and the clamp is solid. It has rubber grips so it wont damage your helmet but it also wont let go. Honestly I wish I would have come across this solution YEARS ago, as I've spent probably 3 - 4x the amount on inferior (though seemingly Superior by description / design) solutions leading up to this. I give the Dango Design Gripper Mount a solid 5 out of 5 Amazon stars recommendation!

Probably okay if you’re not hitting MTB blacks or chunky trails.
The clamp isn’t as strong as I’d prefer and wobbles more than I’d be comfortable with (100% and Leatt helmets) on anything more than blue MTB trails. If you do, definitely use the leash as you’ll probably lose it along with the GoPro at some point. Returning and going back to zip tieing a mount instead.
