More of a cherry red, not really brown at all

This is literally magic in a bottle!!! I had let my hair grow out without coloring it for 7 months (due to illness) and oh my the grey roots came out in full force! I was looking for something that was easy to use, non-damaging to my hair and would cover those yucky greys. Then this magic potion in a small bottle came and I was very skeptical thinking it wouldn't cover my full head of long, thick curly hair, but to my amazement it lathered up and I actually had more than enough with some leftover. It went on so easily and I didn't need to do the whole parting of hair to get the roots I just squeezed it on and it lathered up, rubbed it in all-over really good, left on for 20 minutes or so, rinsed out and my hair was BEAUTIFUL, SHINY & NO MORE GREYS!!! The product says semi-perm for up to 12 washes and mine has lasted just as long and more. The color is amazing and when I say this is a miracle in a bottle it truly is!!

Very happy with this product. Covers the gray hair, washes out with time but leaves lighter color, like natural highlights. It is supposed to last 5 washes but definitely lasts longer. My gray hairs still have a bit of color and it has been at least 15 washes since I applied it.

My stylist had been using the Clairol Jazzing color on my relaxed hair for over 6 years but she retired. I got lots of compliments when the cherry color was applied. I tried dying my hair myself but it didn't work at all for me. I bought this Clairol brand in Nov 2022, and didn't use it for 9 months because I was quite skeptical. My growth was so awful, I decided I had nothing to lose and applied it to my entire hair, and kept it on for about 45 minutes after washing, conditioning and towel drying. I'm so, so happy I did!!! NO MORE GRAY HAIRS!!! It looked like a professional had done my hair! My hairstrands appeared to be thicker/stronger as well. I highly recommend!!! This Clairol brand will be my go-to hair color moving forward.

It's ready to apply. Colors like it's shown on the display. One negative is the color comes on the towel each time you wash your hair after using it.

I switched from permanent coloring due to increased damage from the processing. I used this product six weeks ago and the color is still holding. It actually holds better than the permanent color. Just kind of lightens a little bit where the gray is. My hair is in much better condition without the developing component of hair color processing. It does wash out a little bit and get on to white towels. But no problem throwing the towels in the wash, it does not stain them.
