I had been making my own chai each morning, boiling Indian tea leaves, cinnamon, ginger, etc. I tried other teas and nothing compared to my homemade until I tried this. The blue lotus Chai traditional masala is the closest thing to homemade that Iāve had. (I think itās even a little better than my homemade). And itās so easy and quick to put together in the morning.

Most mass-produced chai is garbage imo. It's overly sweet, has weird "milk solids" in it, and doesn't have that spicy kick of authentic chai. This is a tasty, flavorful, unsweetened, slightly spicy chai with no dairy in it. I add a little extra ginger (either Ginger People ginger syrup or GP ginger juice, whatever I have on hand), a touch of honey and a splash of soy or almond milk and it makes a super tasty beverage that I crave daily. I bought 4-5 of the little cans before committing to the big bag, which was a mistake. Just get the big one. You'll drink it, trust me, and it's cheaper this way. You need to mix it up a bit first and make sure that it's thoroughly blended or you may get some inconsistency (same with the cans) but a quick stir of the bag's contents is enough to make that a non-issue. This is the real deal. The only way that you're going to get better chai is to make it from scratch specifically to your own taste (and who's got time for that every morning?). This stuff is so good that I'm going to make a mead with it (technically a Metheglin, but that's beside the point). It has just enough caffeine to wake me up, but not so much that two big cups will give me the shakes. Basically, it's perfect. I don't often leave reviews and when I do, I don't tend to rave on and on about a product but this chai is super yummy and worthy of praise. ***I didn't get paid for this review. I didn't get any free/discount chai thrown my way or anything. I'm just a regular girl sharing my opinion about an excellent product that I bought and paid for and will continue to purchase for as long as it is this good and remains available.*** If you like REAL chai (not the Americanized Starbucky version), this is for you. If you like the Americanized version, just add a bunch of sugar and milk. I'm sure that you'll still love it. :)

I'm retired now, and I don't know what what made me decide to try some chai, as I had never had it before. But I tried the 3 oz. beautiful little jar of this tea, after reading the reviews and also about the pride the company takes in their product. So I got some and made a cup. Now, the way I make my tea is with just hot water, this chai mix and a very generous amount of raw honey ( ECO Bee, you can get it on Amazon ;D).. no cream. I think that is why I wanted to try chai, because I could feel that the coffee, with the Coffemate and sugar or agave , just wasn't that good for me. Wow! I fell in love with the chai, with THIS Chai. Thus is such a perfect š mix of spices and the honey just brings out all those flavors. I STOPPED DRINKING COFFEE, COLD TURKEY! That's amazing, because I used to talk about coffee all the time. I had to get used to the pepperiness of the chai, but after a while, I increased the strength, bc I love the flavors so much. I drank about 11 ounces morning and evening. Considering the cost of the 3 ounce jar and the fact that this was going to now be my regular drink of choice, I couldn't pass up buying the 1 pound bag at a bulk rate--much more reasonable. I admit I was worried that the bulk mix would not be as good quality, but no, it's every bit as good! Whew. I'm so glad I can afford to have my masala chai. These people definitely do take pride in making the very best product. I would never even try another brand. If you're a chai drinker, this is the bomb! If you haven't tried chai, take the plunge; you won't regret it! Enjoy!

Title says most of it. No sugar or dairy in it. Thank you⦠Taste is strong, but terrific to me. Sissies can dilute with more water or āmilkā or carcinogenic sweetener. In 2 monthsā use, Iāve used about 3.5 ounces of the tea. Made 2 large Yetis per day, nearly every day. Not very expensive from that perspective. I enjoy it a lot. I didnāt get a little spoon in my 1-lb. bag, though. š¢

I have gotten this many times. Itās deliciously spicy, and you add your own milk and/or sugar, so you can make it just how you like it. I drink a mug a day and go through a big bag (one pound) in about a year. Great customer service, too!
