Favorite ukulele
Wow! I feel like a very lucky musician, I started with a cheap pawn shop ukulele. I realized it was going to be one of my favorite instruments. I wanted something better. I bought a $70 "donner" concert ukulele from amazon, kind of underwhelmed. It wasn't the soprano that got me hooked on the instruments. Eventually I wanted to know what a nice soprano sounded like and eventually landed on this. This is my favorite ukulele hands down. Particularly pleased with the strings that it came with, somehow it still sounds "plinky" like a ukulele should, especially soprano, but somehow has really good fullness and amazing warmth to it, it does lack a little bit of note definition compared to other ukuleles and strings that I've tried but you can't really have everything at once. This instrument puts a smile on my face every time I pick it up. Since then, I bought myself a really nice Oscar Schmidt tenor ukulele, was immediately not fond of the strings that came with so I restrung it and I'm a lot happier, somehow this soprano is more full than that but still sounds like a soprano. It's more fun to play, and it always puts a smile on my face when I pick it up. Highly recommend, finish is beautiful as well. As a carpenter I really appreciate the natural wood look. If you're on the fence, you will not be regretful by buying this instrument.

チューニングがすぐに狂ってしまうのが残念
写真左です。 右は初心者セットで5,000円弱のもの。 音はかるーい軽快な感じでですが、 チューニングはあまり狂いません。 KALAのウクレレは、比べると明らかに 右とは違い、優しい音色です。 しかし、残念ながら チューニングが一曲弾いたらもう狂ってしまいます。 対処法はないのだろうか。 見た目も音色も良いので残念でなりません。

Fantastic tone
Got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. The tone is exceptional and better than her two beginner Ukes. Her music school teachers couldn’t believe how good it sounded.

A lovely 2nd Uke for my vacation home
Very happy with this Uke, which is a second one for my vacation home so I don't have to try to travel with mine. Nice looking and very Crisp sound, although I found that in my humid climate, I needed to tune it every time. Hopefully it will relax over time.
