Bosch Cordless Vacuum Cleaner UniversalVac 18 (without battery, 18 Volt System, in Carton Packaging)

Great quality for a small workshop vac. Amazing suction with easy clean filter. Ideal in the home to but more suitable for hard floors as no beater bar or suction control. However, still put many cordless vacs to shame for it's price and great battery life!

Very good hand held vacuum cleaner. Very easy to empty the dust container, the filter has to be cleaned always for the vacuum to work properly. Very quick recharge time. My car is much cleaner now.

I bought this as a standalone item with a new 18v 2.5Ah battery but without charger, expecting my existing Bosch 18v charger to be sufficient. Not. However, the good news was that the existing 1.5Ah batteries I already have quite happily drive the vacuum. I emailed BOSCH UK to check for the correct charger, which they kindly informed me is the BOSCH AL 18V-44 @ £35.71 (inclusive of VAT and shipping) directly from them. This charges all generations of batteries, which is a bonus when charging 2 x 1.5Ah, now able to use both chargers at once. Performance is good with powerful suction for such a lightweight appliance. The cleaning tools provided are a bit inadequate, as I found previously with much larger BOSCH canister vacuums. Since I have a good collection of adaptor tubes and cleaning heads saved from many previous brands of cleaner, I customised brush, and open head, attachments which proved generally to be more robust in practice. The older open head accessory works very well on stairs, fitted directly to the appliance with a single short adaptor tube (Amazon has these kits). I would probably never use the flimsy long extension tubes BOSCH included, as it places too much leverage on the unit, and anyway, I have the excellent BOSCH canister machines with customised stainless steel long-reach accessories for such applications. I think this is good value for money, although battery and compatible charger are an additional cost. BOSCH engineering has proved to be very durable, and the electrics are of reliably high performance. Good dust filters incorporated. I chose this model for its small, handheld, close-up cleaning for tight corners, and because it fitted in with existing BOSCH appliances....despite requiring a charger upgrade, which fortunately is now known to be retrospectively compatible.

Great bit of kit. Also good that it used the clip on batteries I already had for my strimmer. Not having that batteries built in should give this a much longer life span than previous cordless vac I have owned. The suction is strong and it is easy to empty.

GREAT little vacuum. It’s light and easy to pop together. It comes with a few attachments that would do most jobs you need around the house. I don’t have any carpet, so it makes going over wood or tiles floors a doddle. So much nicer than getting larger vacuum out. The battery charges quick and lasts ages (bought separately, but can be used with most Bosch cordless tools). It has great suck & pretty quiet for what it does. I really rate this vacuum for keeping on top of vacuuming so it does become a chore.

Great vacuum cleaner!!! Good suction. Not heavy , extension tubes work well, no power loss when using them. Bit noisy, but really that’s what you expect from a little power house 👍

Upon first use I was impressed as the suction seemed quite good, but sadly that was not to last. As I used it to vacuum (it's so called function) over two minutes it quickly lost suction and became useless. I wondered why so I opened it up to find the filter completely covered. I had barely picked up anything, but what I did went straight to the filter and choked it. This is the first Bosch Universal tool that has not been fit for purpose (I own 5 different ones) due to the design of the filter.

Not bad hoover........ no where near as powerful suction as a cheap wired one i have but its convenient. Lighter than I was expecting.

Absolutnie nie polecam. Najpierw kupiłem zestaw z wiertarką i jestem super zadowolony. Potem kupiłem odkurzacz (ta sama bateria), ale to zupełna porażka. Filtr wewnętrzny (nie pojemnik, tylko filtr oddzielający) już po kilkunastu sekundach zapycha się na całej powierzchni i odkurzacz przestaje ssać. Po wyczyszczeniu filtra siła przez chwilę jest ok, ale po 30 sekundach odkurzania znowu to samo. Niestety, nie nadaje się do użytku. Nie polecam tego sprzętu, bo ogólnie produkty Bosch są wysokiej jakości.

Ich habe den Bosch Akku Staubsauger UniversalVac 18 gekauft, weil ich einen handlichen Sauger für die schnelle Reinigung und schwer zugängliche Stellen brauchte, und er hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen! Saugkraft und Akku: Für seine kompakte Größe hat er eine beeindruckende Saugkraft. Krümel, Staub und Tierhaare sind kein Problem. Da er zum 18-Volt-System von Bosch gehört, kann ich meine vorhandenen Akkus nutzen – das ist genial! Die Akkulaufzeit (abhängig vom verwendeten Akku) ist für die schnelle Reinigung mehr als ausreichend. Vielseitigkeit und Zubehör: Das mitgelieferte Zubehör ist sehr umfangreich. Die Fugendüse und der Bürstenaufsatz machen ihn extrem vielseitig für das Auto, die Werkstatt, Sofas und schwer erreichbare Ecken. Man kann ihn auch schnell in einen kleinen Bodenstaubsauger verwandeln. Handhabung: Er ist leicht, liegt super in der Hand und ist kabellos, was die Handhabung ungemein erleichtert. Kein lästiges Kabel umstecken mehr! Fazit: Der UniversalVac 18 ist die perfekte Ergänzung zu jedem großen Staubsauger. Er ist sofort einsatzbereit, stark und sehr vielseitig. Ein hochwertiges und zuverlässiges Bosch-Produkt, das den Alltag erleichtert.
