OXO doesn't suck... when it should.
I usually love OXO products. Contemporary design. Nice rubbery-feel. But this all-purpose squeegee is a piece of hot garbage. And here's why...Firstly, the squeegee itself isn't horrible. It's not amazing, but it does the job. Sure, it squeaks like a family of field mice being massacred by a combine harvester, but I can live with that. The big problem is the suction mount. And by that, I mean the trendy-looking suction cup that doesn't suction to anything properly/very long. It's shaped weird with upturned lips that don't do it any favors. And its power to suck doesn't even seem to be able to hold the weight of the very squeegee it was meant to uphold. The youngsters call that a "fail".I'm not sure how the design of this suction mount even made it through the gauntlet of thick-black-rimmed, prescriptionless eyeglass-wearing design interns at OXO, but it did. And it is a smegging travesty. You know how some products just make you so furious you want to punch yourself in the face for owning them? That's this thing. It's very Sisyphean in its cruelty. Stick it to the shower tile, ten minutes later it falls off. Stick it to the shower glass, ten minutes later it falls off. Repeat until frothing at the mouth and/or in a blind rage. It's a lesson in madness, to be sure. And my shower tile and glass are clean and smooth, so don't even go there.I have since burned the never-loving suction mount in effigy. I hung the squeegee from a shower caddy and still use it to this day. And each time I do, the wind whispers, "Punch yourself in the face."

SQUEE! GEE, this is a Great Product!
Water spots I've learned, are one of the quickest ways to make a nice, new shower look grubby and unkempt. Though I'm fortunate to live in an area where the water is neither too hard, nor too soft, we'll still end up with staining if post-shower droplets aren’t addressed with at least some rapidity. As I'm a guy, it still astounds my wife that I take the time to squeegee our shower after every use... but I figure before it turns into one of Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs, I'd rather take care of it on the front end!I purchased this product five and a half years ago, and as of the date of this review, it's still going strong. The 10" silicone blade remains in really good shape, and I haven't engaged in any special care beyond hanging it up after every use. The included suction hook works really well, and hasn't once separated or slipped from our acrylic shower pan; though it's still easy enough to remove and reapply should the occasion arise. For best results and a streak free shine, I recommend cleaning glass and surfaces slowly from top to bottom without applying too much pressure. There’s a chance you may still need to towel off the last little bit of moisture here and there, but all told, this product serves its purpose really well. And now that I've written passionately and at length about a bathroom squeegee, I feel compelled to go outside and do something manly... like dig a hole, or barbeque. Or both. Luau Pig, anyone?Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, hopefully this information was useful!

Blade doesn't make complete contact with glass
This is a nice looking squeegee and the suction cup portion works well, but otherwise I've been extremely disappointed with this item. And by extremely disappointed, I mean I HATE IT PASSIONATELY.I wanted this squeegee for my glass shower door. The blade isn't very wide, so it takes a couple extra strokes compared to my old squeegee. Or, it WOULD only take a couple extra strokes, if the blade actually made complete contact with the glass. When I first used it, this thing left a gap of unsqueegeed water right down the middle, bringing this already narrow squeegee towards the brink of utter uselessness.I attempted to apply extra pressure to achieve better contact, but ended up leaving a bunch of fine, annoying AF scratches behind, right where the sunlight shines through. FML.I then tried bending the frame of the squeegee to see if I could even out the gap, which kind of worked... the singular large gap in the middle has been reduced to two smaller gaps more towards the side. You're evidently unable to return this item, so I'll be throwing it with emphatic rage into the trash.

Cannot Recommend this product
I'm usually a pretty big fan of OXO products, and I have quite a few of them, so based on the positive reviews, I bought this shower squeegee. The day it arrived, I used it and I'd say it was pretty much everything I could have expected. It looked good, it worked great.Day two, after my shower when I was cleaning the glass, there was a streak in the middle of the blade that didn't seem to meet the glass. Ok, no big deal.Day three and the squeegee is totally useless. The very ends wipe the glass, but the entire middle of the blade does nothing. It doesn't seem to matter how I hold it, or what angle it is against the glass, it basically does nothing at all.I'm just glad it wasn't expensive, because this is just going in the garbage.Sorry OXO....but this was a fail on your part.I would not recommend this item at all.

Doesn't work very well on my shower doors.
I was disappointed in this after reading all of the positive reviews. I'm replacing the IKEA brand squeegee that I bought for $2 to use on my shower doors. The OXO is very lightweight and ergonomic, but it simply does not clean the glass as well as the other squeegee (That's such a fun word, isn't it?) I did one door with the IKEA and the other with the OXO, and the OXO still had a damp look to it...kinda like drying something off with a damp towel. The IKEA side was completely dry. Amazon processed the return easily enough, so I shall look for something better.

Wipes water well, sucky thingy tricky little tike at first
In an attempt to minimize water staining on our glass shower door, I needed something to wipe the leftovers away. Used a cheapy one from a local shop but it was, pants. So this one was far more expensive but came with a suck-cup to keep it on the wall. It was a bit of a tricky sausage to get to stick. I would walk away thinking I had it only to hear an almighty crash from upstairs 15 minutes later when it had come unstuck. Some harsh words, some reluctant licking of the pad and some excessive pressure and that seemed to do the trick. Wipes well, remains on the wall and is of a very nice quality. I feel strangely upper-class wielding it, naked, wiping the dregs of my shower off the doors.

Couldn't be happier
She said: "If you are going near Poundland can you get a new squeegee for the shower"I said: "We use it every day, I'll get a proper one"A quick Amazon search and the discovery that OXO Good Grips do a squeegee and that was the end of the search. We have a couple of other Good Grips items in the kitchen already, and if I wasn't so tight-fisted I'd replace everything that isn't Good Grips all in one go.This squeegee has a broad blade and a short handle, which is how they all should be. The suction holder is ideal as we now have the squeegee ready to grab rather than loitering at the bottom of the screen. So easy to use and a reminder that even very simple items can benefit from being designed with everyday use in mind,Couldn't be happier with this product.UPDATE: four months later, I'm still delighted with this purchase. The blade is as good as new.

The wiper head is not flat so leaves marks in the center
I already own one of these Squeegee's and I am very happy with the product. I therefore ordered another one for another bathroom but unfortunately the second one is faulty. It is not flat along the surface of the squeegee so while the edges touch the surface entirely, the center section does not make sufficient contact, leaving the moisture still on the surface. I tried to return the item but it is not eligible. Meaning I am left with a product that doesn't work and I am out of pocket!

Quality Squeegee
I took my own sweet time fussing over which squeegee to get for our new shower and I kept on finding myself being drawn back to this particular one. I trust OXO Good Grips, and for good reasons too - you get serious quality for what you pay for.The suction on the holder for the squeegee is good, but I've found that it will only stick properly to the glass of our shower*.Either way the surface area of the suction holder barely takes up any room and the squeegee is brilliant for an easy and quick wipe down job after a shower, managing to get off all excess water from the glass panes from the first manoeuvre leaving no dripping marks behind. A much needed relief from scrubbing at the glass to get hard water marks off!Do be wary of the width of this squeegee if you intend on using it on any curved surfaces.*To be clear - I'm sure that the suction would work well on other types of tiles than what we have so this is just circumstantial.

robust rubber, easy to grip handle, convenient to use
I do quite a bit of window ( do not confuse with software) cleaning at home and this squeegee has never failed me. I own mine for quite some time now and still have no issues with the rubber. I love the fact that the handle is shaped in way such that it makes it very comfortable to grip for longer periods of time. The suction pad is probably also very handy but I have never had a need to use it. All in all I am very satisfied with this product and will be purchasing again.
