To me this is like a docking station I can use at home. Same functionality

For those looking to tether an entire network off a single cellular device, look no further. This device apparently the correct chipset needed for most (if not all) modern smartphones to tether via ethernet. The passthrough charging works fantastically in order to keep the device charged. One word of warning, it needs a thunderbolt cable to actually charge. Any old USB-C cable will not work to charge the device via this adapter.

I’ve been using it for 2 weeks with my work from home setup and it gets the job done! I no longer have to disconnect a bunch of cables when I need to bring my laptop with me. 3rd week Update: the usb seems to have a slight glitch/lag when I plug in the dongles for Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I had to return to get an exchange unit.

Great Hub. made life a lot easier

I got this hub for both the Nintendo Switch and Samsung Dex and it works great with both. As with any adapter, you have to use Nintendo's power supply for the Switch, but it'll also charge my phone and I needed one anyways so I got one of those to use with this.

Great adapter, allows me to connect to my USB drive and mouse! It also allows me to use a sleeve as it does not insert right up to the macbook.

Works with Dell and MacBook. This is just the thing to have I got the one with out the rj45 network jack.

Mine stopped working after about 5 months. It doesn’t get recognized by any of my devices. It was great while it still worked.

Ótimo para que tem pouca usb no dispositivo e precisa conecta em uma rede cabeada ou até mesmo utilizar a HDMI. Material resistente e funciona perfeitamente.

Yo buscaba que incluyera ethernet y HDMI, además del USB 2.0 y 3.0. Está listo para instalarse. Ya probé todas las conexiones y funcionan muy bien. Me gusta que tenga el cable porque en algunos lugares los accesos (por ejemplo al ethernet o HDMI) tienen poco espacio y, en lugar de mover la computadora a una posición incómoda, el cable hace que sea mas fácil conectarlo. Bastante portátil. Se calienta un poco mientras funciona, sobre todo si hay alto flujo de datos, por ejemplo si se transfiere el contenido de un disco externo de gran tamaño (el cuello de botella es la velocidad del disco, no de la conexión). Muy buena compra.

Simple plug and play. No issue observed. I'm happy with it.
