Abilitations 1482975 Chewlery, 6-1/4", Translucent Pastel Colors (Pack of 4)

As others have stated, these necklaces do not look like the posted picture. They look like old spiral telephone cords. Because of that I have had a hard time getting my 4 year old daughter to keep them on. She has long hair and the necklace catches in it and pulls her hair. I tend to just carry them with me in my purse and keep them stashed around the house so I can hand one to her when I see her chewing on something she shouldn't. Not a perfect product but it has been helpful in teaching her not to chew on her toys or fingernails. She is a fairly aggressive chewer and so far has not caused any damage to the necklaces themselves. I may try a different style if I order again, just to try to find something she will actually wear.

These are by far my child’s favorite chewies and we have had ALOT in the last 7 years. Love the colors, durability and flexibility. These will e our go to from now on!

These are the springy phone-cord style necklaces. I think they look like straight tubes in this pic. Compared to the necklace/braclet sets from this same line, this four-pack is a great deal. We've tried some other options for our chewer but she lost the tube after a few days and I'm not a huge fan of the pencil toppers because I feel like it encourages her to chew something we don't want in her mouth. (She has a tendency to bite the metal eraser holder right off pencils.)The four-pack is nice because she can wear one, keep a spare at school and I still have a couple of extras at home.

I wanted to love these so much because my daughter who has high functioning autism chews on everything. Unfortunately they kept getting stuck on and pulling the small hairs at the nape of her neck causing constant meltdowns.

These seem to 'retain' salvia extremely well (not good). I have to constantly and continually dry them off as my son chews on them all day long. There were not what I thought they were but had to make do for now.

wow, this item's picture could not be more misleading… these are telephone cord style necklaces, not at all what is pictured. Yes, the written description is a little more accurate, but after looking at dozens of alternative products online for my son, i was tired of reading the same vague descriptions. These look like a discrete tube (he already chews on drinking straws) that he could slip in his pocket. But they aren't. They may be perfectly fine for what they are intended fro, but the image of these is deceptive.

My son loves these!! Durable and hasn’t stretched out yet.

We get these for my son this brand is the only one that lasts. He is a chewer and grinds his teeth. We just remind him use your necklace he only removes it to sleep. School notices a difference in his behavior if for some reason he forgets it.
