Took a little while to find this PCI cable with both male ends , geforce 970 needs female(s) 6 pin and 8 pin , PSU had 2 female 6 pin ports , fired right up no issues

Update 1/20/2018--The cables turned out to be fine. The problem was the last 6 pin port on the psu.Rating updated to 5 stars.--Didn't work with a 6 pin card, the pc wouldn't turn on. The problem was resolved by using a molex adapter/connector which verified the card and the psu are not the issue. One user mentioned that the 2 pins (6+2) serve as ground and most likely need to be connected for things to work. If my card had an 8 pin the I'm sure this cable woul've been great. Too bad I have to return it. It's worth mentioning that the seller responded to a question about just plugging the 6 pin part to a 6 pin card and said it should work, that's why I bought this cable.

I've been trying to give my old Lenovo All-in-One m72z thinkcentre a couple more years, so I picked and external GPU dock ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXY9YQW/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EcYsFbWZY8S26 ) that plugs into you mini PCI-e . The dock runs on an external power source, and powers up the GPU from a 6pin power output. Since the GPU I'm trying to use come with an 8 pin power input i need it, i needed a 6 pin to 8 pin power cable.After reading some of the negative reviews I decided to order the cable from two different sources to see which one works better. I got this one much cheaper than the other and looks a lot better. I'll be updating this review after a couple weeks just to see which one works better.

Excellent quality for cables but no long enough for GPU and riser. As costumer is litter expensive following volume of sales, Not always is available, but I will buy againExcelente calidad de cables pero no son tan largos como para conectar una GPU con su riser. These claim to work with Thermaltake power supplies. I have a Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 850W power supply. When connecting the cables to the correct input, the power supply refuses to power on. Once I remove them, it powers on. Very disappointed in this product.

This was perfectly what I needed for my PSU. I contacted support to ensure this would be the correct product and indeed it was.

Turns out the wires were not compatible with the psu i bought them for so i asked for refund they completely refunded me and told me to keep the wires as gift great company
