I ordered one and it worked great for about 10 months, and then the bulb died. i thought it was the battery at first because the light seemed to just not be as bright, but i changed the battery, no difference, and then it completely died a few days after. For the price I can't complain for the amount of time it lasted. I just ordered another one :) I may order one for my other house as well.

My son is autistic and has taken a little longer than most kiddos to potty train. He’ll be 5 soon and has the potty part down, so to make it more fun I added this light. It’s helping him stay consistent with night time peeing and he always makes sure to go before bed! If he wakes up at night, he has a light in there now and doesn’t have to turn on the main light (which wakes him up too much, causing him to struggle going back to sleep). It’s a godsend! He was a little bit distracted with the button on it at first, but he leaves it alone now. I still have no clue what that does…. Did I read the instructions?! No. 😅This is the second time I’ve purchased one. I had one years ago, but after awhile it got a little gross so I tossed it. I’m cleaning it once a week now just to be safe.The only issue is that it falls off a LOT. Maybe we have a really wide port to hang it from? The light has a bendy wire that hugs the toilet, but every time he lifts the lid it seems to stretch out. I hear it crash on the floor constantly. Pretty sure it’ll end up in the trash on accident someday and get tossed….Luckily, they’re pretty cheap! If I did it again, I’d get a multipack.

If you are an old dude like me and you need to get up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom, this is the perfect gadget to prevent your spouse from being disturbed. I use to take a penlight into the bathroom, but no longer. This thing is great and allows for perfect aim (if you know what I mean). Others have reviewed the thing broke within a week. I have not had any issues. The color changes are cool, but you can set it for one color. Just really a great gadget.

We use this now because we have a newborn baby in the house, and when in the middle of the night we don't want to wake him, we utilize a lot of led lights in the house. Bathroom included. Unfortunately, we don't love this. The reason? Well it gets dirty really easily, and the motion is almost too sensitive. No one want to clean it, and it falls off the toilet occasionally. I don't think overall it's a design problem, I'm not sure how to give it a suggestion on how to improve on the product, but overall it's just a meh product. We purchased the 3 pack, and one of the 3's batteries have been going out in less than a week. 2 times already. And no it's not the battery, we use the same batteries out of the same pack that we purchased together. Although the product is dirt cheap so we ended up keeping it. But I'm sure in less than 6 months we will toss as it gets a bit too dirty.
