Inficon 712-700-G1 NIMH Replacement Battery Power Stick for Compass and D-TEK CO2 Refrigerant Leak Detectors

I tried to use the cheaper generic battery's that were supposed to work for the model I had but it did not work. This one works, and holds a charge pretty good

Used on a Inficon refrigerant leak detector. Fit well and was charged.

I DID NOT like the fact that the package had been opened. Makes me very skeptical but it seems that the power stick is fine. I am using it in my Inficon leak detector.

I replaced my old battery with this new battery and it immediately BURNT UP MY DETECTOR and the NEW BATTERY! Smoke literally came out of the detector. I don't like posting negative reviews but everyone needs to be warned and I need a new leak detector.

Just what my leak detector needed. Now I'm back to hunting for leaks.
