Excellent quality, I love it as a coffee table book. Tons of interesting details about Miyazaki and obviously the art is amazing.

A must have for studio ghibli fans

I am in the process of collecting every book I can possibly find on Hayao Miyazaki and his work in Studio Ghibli. As such, I was very impressed with the anecdotes, pieces of art, and other background stories within this book. Additionally, the colors were printed very nicely, making this collection a nice coffee table book.

I bought this book for my daughter who went to Japan a few years ago and is a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki. She loved this book and highly recommends!

I normally won’t purchase books on Amazon when I can help it because I like keeping the doors open for my favorite bookstore Barnes & Noble. But when I saw that the store was selling this book for almost $60, I found it for HALF the price here 🫠 snagged it immediately. Beautiful book with a long backstory of Hayao Miyazaki and gorgeous artwork from his film process. Must have book for your home or collection!

My daughter 1st spotted this book at a national bookseller location. When we saw the price, we checked Amazon. To our pleasant surprise, we were able to get the same book, same quality for a lower price. She's very happy with this gift.

I bought this book thinking it would be a perfect compliment to the Studio Ghibli Complete Works, which it is… but even more! At first I was disappointed in the scattering of illustrations (which the Complete Works is filled with). But so realized the writing is so visually strong that the illustrations ratio is just perfect! Plus a nice surprise at the end of the book, a treasure chest of illustrations!The printing is impeccable, wonderful selection of quality paper and subtle hues to enhance the serenity Miyazaki exudes. Perfect coffee table book that would make a cherished gift to artists, writers and fans!
