Cloth Addiction Microfiber Screen Cleaning Cloth 2-pack

Like a lot of you, you're probably drawn here from the Gizmodo article/review. And at first blush, paying 8 bucks for something that usually comes free with every 3rd party accessory you've ever bought seems a little crazy.These things are legit.Up until now I've been using large microfiber towels usually marketed for cleaning cars or dusting furniture. They work OK, but most times they're just spreading the smears/smudging around. They also need water [or more commonly, spit] to do any real cleaning.When I got the Galaxy Note 2, I knew I needed a really good cleaning cloth to deal with all that real estate. After placing a screen protector on it [I prefer Spigen] I put the cloth to work.The cloth just feels different. More substantial. It also has more of a texture, which some have compared to a cat's tongue. I'd say it's much smoother, but I can see the reason for the comparison.2-3 swipes, and all the smudges are GONE. Even after a spirited game of Fruit Ninja, a couple passes and it's back to new. I've yet to need any water, and in fact, even with the big screen of the Note 2, I'm perfectly fine using the smaller of the two cloths in the package.To recap: Yes, at first glance the price is daunting. But the quality and performance justifies the cost. You won't be disappointed.

I have had several iPhones and have sworn by using microfiber cloths to keep the screens clean and when I ordered myself a new iPad and a gift of an iPad mini, I knew that I needed to have cloths for those devices. Given my two choices of Apple products, the two sizes were perfect! One is just the right size for the mini and the larger one for my iPad. These do the job just fine and work flawlessly. I have seen other say that they may have received one that was "dirty", but these two were very clean - did the job and no residues. With these cloths, you just have to remember to hand wash them in soap WITHOUT perfumes (delivered via essential oils), rinse them well, and let them air dry.

So I ordered this because I've read several reviews where people say how awesome these are. I think I've found the truth to be that they're amazing for some screens.iPad (which has an OK oleophobic coating): It works amazing, like really amazing, better than anything else I've tried. The ipad's coating is good at stopping junk from really sticking, but it always requires a lot of rubbing to get it off.Nexus 4 (which has an amazing oleophobic coating): You'd be better off wiping it on your pants. That's not to say this thing has a problem, but if you device has a really good oleophobic coating, this cloth is unnecessary.Nook HD+ (has no oleophobic coating): Honestly the cloth was totally useless on this. I had a lot more success using cleaning cloths from Target, but this thing just didn't work.So in short, I think if you want to use an Apple device, get one of these... for other devices, your mileage will vary.

Nice soft cloth of neutral color. I bought this to replace my red microfiber which gave my white Macbook a pinkish tinge. Does not scratch screen and leaves very little lint if any, (I might have been moving just some dust around). I still needed a screen cleaning spray to get all of the smudges off my computer screen though. Cloth is thick and durable. If I clean something really gunky, I just wash the cloth in plain water, and the only thing that happens is that the cloth gets a bit more wrinkled. Other than that, there is no change in performance, and I've washed the cloth a number of times. The 2-pack comes as one large cloth and one small cloth. The large one is a bit too big for my taste, even for a 13" laptop screen (because I fold the cloth to wipe, I don't just slap the whole thing on the screen), and the small one is a good portable size for eyeglasses and phone screens.

Basically just a large glasses cloth. Nothing special about them, especially not for the price. I was expecting a thicker style microfiber cloth, as in the thickness of a bath towel. the do a good job as getting rid of smudges on your screen, but takes a few a few more swipes that I'm used to from other cloths.

Microfiber cleaning clothes are no longer a luxury - they're essential for keeping the ever increasing myriad of electronics we use dust free and clean. Mine arrived in a huge box because I had a large order with about eight items in it.I tossed the box and while going over the invoice realized I didn't have the Cloth Addiction 2 Pack. After checking my account to make sure it was shipped - I found it under one of the cardboard folds at the bottom of the box (I know Idiot) But hey, these things happen.
