WA14 excelente
Es un excelente micrófono. Hice pruebas con el y lo compare con el 414. Sus respuestas son muy similares.

Most versatile mic in my arsenal
Knowing the heritage of this microphone design I expected it to be versatile but I have been blown away by just how useful the WA-14 is. I am mainly a drummer recording at home, but I have used this on: stereo overheads (I have 2), stereo rooms, mono OH, mono room, tom close mic, kick drum outside mic, as well as miking guitar cabs and vocals. The multiple polar patterns make it a Swiss army knife microphone. I just love the high end "airy" sound when used as overheads. They are my #1s for that job.

Great sounding mic
I love this mic so far. A friend of mine recommended this mic to me and it was an awesome thing he did. First I want to say that your initial recordings with this WA14 are going to be a lot better than some other microphones out there. I do Hip Hop music so I needed something with not too much top end and not too muffled either and this hits that sweet middle ground of warmth and brightness. Since my purchase in April I've recorded about 6 songs with it and am eager to record more. One downside to this mic and the reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is that it does require a strong interface to be able to use it to its full potential which discouraged me at first because as you can see the mic is pretty expensive and my presonus audiobox couldn't give it enough juice causing me to have to turn the mic gain almost all the way up.My solution to that was the purchase of the zen go audio interface by antelope and I couldn't be happier. The zen go also allows you to record with zero latency via the digital console. So I plug up load an instance of the Gyratec 9 mic preamp and my songs have never sounded better

Buyers please beware
This mic is a good for up close applications, I got some decent takes on vocals and guitar cabs. Unfortunately it really fails on quieter sources or micing more than 15 inches away from the source. It just doesn't have enough output level and you'll need to turn you preamp gain up so high that you'll get noise in the recording. Hence, it's really not as versatile a mic as you would expect. Its also very suspicious that the manufacturer does not post a full spec sheet and the specs they do give are quite ambiguous. I personally requested the full spec sheet from the company and they will not send them to me. They tell me the specs are not compiled yet. BS. I guess they dont want people to know. It has very low output and high self noise. If you turn the gain up, it is very noisy! You wont find the specs on the company's website but here they are. Sensitivity 6 mv/pa Self noise 17 db-A Its terrible! Lowest output (sensitivity) of any condenser I can find, and highest self noise
