When I received my initial package I was missing 1 of the floor guards. I contacted the company and they promptly mailed me a brand new set of guards. We have now gotten them installed and they look great! Also serve their purpose of protecting the walls from the gate. Even seemed to have added some stability. Great job North States! Would highly recommend.

First off this gate is pretty nice for what your paying for and id probably buy it again. All these stupid problems you see people posting about how the latch is busted or the bottom latch wont open but the top does so the door is stuck? Yeah those are all true.Install took about 3 minutes literally. People who cant get the extension pieces to line up probably need help lifting the toilet seat. Once you get it installed and go to use the gate and it wont open look at the bottom latch its probably stuck there. So now you have to take it back down, Tape up the bottom latch on the top lock and then reinstall it. All in all your 10 minutes in and you have a nice gate. There is a pin on the very bottom that locks the door in nicely but when you go to open the door its just a cluster. You might want to tape that one up as well or just lift on the gate when you open even then it takes some force but not too bad.I gave it 3 stars because the issues i had with it are all known issues that should have been fixed by now but they are just ignoring everyone which is typical of manufacturers like this so i just give an honest review.... 3 stars it is would i buy it again? More than likely yes. Price needs to come down to about $69.99 then it would be worth every penny broken lock or not.

This is a great product! Does the job for the price and protects my walls from getting damaged. Very study so far!
