Samick Journey 64" Takedown Bow 45lb

Great bow for a decent price. Best beginner bow you can get. It looks amazing, seriously aside from my custom long bow, this is the prettiest bow I own. Ilove that you can 'take it down' so that it's more compact, the long bows don't fit in my husband's car but these take downs are easy to disassemble and put anywhere. Seriously the best "bang for buck' you can get when it comes to tradtional bows.

I am not an experienced archer. This is the first bow I've shot in many years. Easy to pick up and shoot. Fun to shoot. A bit loud but it can be modified. I expect I'll replace the bow string. Do not order this without also ordering the nock point, t square, shooting glove, arrows, arrow rest, and stringer. All of these things can be had for a relatively low price.

I'm no expert nor very knowledgeable in general about bows but I love this one. It's tall and so am I so the draw is perfect. I have the 45lbs which is kind of stiff until you get used it. As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the bow. Easy to put together. Everything aligns correctly, no flaws that I can see. Very accurate rig.very high quality for what you pay. Awesome take down recurve. I really like it.

I used to do archery when I was in high school and recently got the itch to start again. I am 6'4" and many bows are too small for me and many of the properly sized ones I found were very expensive.... Until I found this, what a great bow, the craftsmanship is amazing for a bow this price, the only weak point I found is the string, it would be better with a string with one smaller loop so that a bowstringer it easier to use, but that is easily corrected. I originally thought the little plastic rest they give you would be useless, but it works great for non-feather arrows.

New at this, but goes together well however, found out I'm going to grow into it. The bow is pretty good and the price was right. Not for beginners though.

Great packaging. Easy to unpack. Refer to you tube for setup-which is perfect. Being my first recurve, i was a little skeptical about stringing properly without a bow stringer...but it was actually not too complicated to do. All put together, with a 45# draw, this bow has a good fitting contour in the left hand. The draw is smooth, stageless, unlike compounds. Im glad this id my first--and apparently the best there is at this price point.

Purchased for my son who is in 4H archery club - it is a hit! He loves it and hit the bulls eye on his first flight! Beautiful bow.
