Works like a charm! Have just started to use this product for my book projects, and I will continue to use it. It’s sticky but not overly like duct tape. Purchased the 2 inch but can cut down to 1 inch depending on where I need it. So far, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely the best carpet tape I've ever used. It is so strong I can see me using for other things that need a super-strong bind. You CAN use it to fix a rug on top of carpet BUT you have to be prepared to sacrifice the carpet underneath as it will almost certainly shred it if you want to lift it.I bought this to fix a rug to a carpet that will get replaced someday. I had tried regular carpet tape and various kinds of rug grippers, but the rug, which is underneath my office chair, kept rucking up and moving. This keeps the rug solidly in place with all the wheeling back and forth of the chair. Although I know I will never be able to lift the rug without ruining the carpet, that's fine since the rug will outlast the carpet.

I have used this tape for several books in many states of destruction. The tape sticks to other cloth materials and glossy board bindings well but better to cloth covers. Easy to tear to desired size without cutting tape. Have not had any overall issues a month after use except the adhesion coming off of a book in areas that I used only small pieces or around ledges without much wrap around. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and will likely order again in the future. - (very) Amateur Book Binder Hobbyist
