Excellent sprayer, gets the job done
I have 3 different size tank sprayers (1,2,3 gallon) and was tired of carrying them around the farm. We have a 300 ft barn lane and 400 ft drive with a half circle turn around with gravel surface. I use 6 gal of spray to keep weeds/grass out of drives. We have 3 pastures totaling 20 acres surrounded by woods and 26 acres of woods in a woodland management plan. I needed a sprayer that I could use to kill invasive species along the pasture edge and in the woods. This sprayer does the trick. It worked perfectly right out of the box. The wide mouth on the tank with a screen allows you to pour chemical easily into the sprayer and the screen catches anything that might fall into it. I was able to take water, chemical and sprayer in a trailer to the back of the property, mix it the field and spray the pastures edge. I used 11 gallon of chemical first time I used the sprayer and it worked great. No leaks, 5 or 6 pumps pressurizes the tank with excellent spray coverage. With the wand I can reach 10 ft high and the spray is another 3 ft so I can reach places I couldn't reach with the hand held sprayers. Having the sprayer on your back is much easier than carrying around a tank and having to stop to pump 12 or 15 times to keep good pressure. I thought I would use more chemical due to the excellent spray coverage but I was pleasantly surprised that I used less chemical than before. I was able to spray about 1000 ft of pasture edge with the 11 gallons of spray. We have serious problems with Chinese bittersweet, grapevine and privet so I use Crossbow in the sprayer. Clean up was easy, the filter on the wand is easy to get to, the nozzle is easy to remove. The one thing I can't use it for is walking thru brush to get to invasive plants that are well hidden but I knew that before I bought this sprayer. With a tank full of spray on your back it is hard to maneuver in close quarters. If you are looking for a good sprayer, at a fair price that does the job intended then look no further than this sprayer. It is well worth the investment. One caveat is that any piece of equipment is only has good as the maintenance so I would encourage you to clean after every use, use vaseline on the o-rings and take care of the equipment you purchase.

Perfect sprayer
Bought this to spray our two acre lot and was not disappointed. No leaks at all and super nice quality. Pump and spray was easy to use and continous. This is a great value.

Powerful and Reliable, But Quite Heavy
Iโve been using this FIELD KING 4-gallon backpack sprayer for about 10 months, and it works very well. Once on your shoulders, it pumps quickly and delivers a strong, adjustable spray, from fine mist to powerful stream, with pressure maintained easily every 20โ30 seconds. The main drawback is the weight. Fully loaded, itโs around 40 lbs, which can be difficult for many to lift and strap on comfortably. I usually only fill it halfway to make it more manageable and even then will set it on my outdoor potting bench in order to strap it on with assistance of the bench supporting the weight. Overall, itโs a solid and efficient sprayer, but the weight keeps it from being ideal for everyone.

No leaks and incredible pressure!
I have gone through quite a few garden sprayers over the years, but this four gallon backpack model is by far the best one I have ever used. The standout feature for me is the internal pump design. With my older sprayers, I would constantly end up with harsh chemicals leaking down my back, but this unit keeps my clothing completely dry. The padded shoulder straps and waist belt make carrying a full tank surprisingly comfortable, even when I am walking around the yard for an hour at a time. The internal agitator paddles are also a fantastic touch because they keep my powdered fertilizers perfectly mixed while I work. The performance is exactly what I needed for treating my large property. It pumps up to an impressive 150 PSI, which makes it incredibly easy to reach the higher branches of my trees without needing a ladder. Having six different nozzles included right out of the box gives you total versatility whether you need a wide fan spray for weed killer or a direct stream for bug control. The brass shut off valve feels very heavy duty and the lockable trigger absolutely saves my hands from cramping up during long jobs. If you do your own lawn care and need a reliable piece of equipment, I highly recommend picking this up.

Good sprayer
Heavy duty, works really well, uses more solution than previous sprayer which is probably a good thing.

Best sprayer Iโve used!!
The Field King Backpack Sprayer is a professional sprayer that works great for our lawn and garden needs. The four-gallon capacity tank and its easy to pump tank makes spraying a large area a simple and effortless task. The padded shoulder straps, a waist belt with built-in lumbar support ensure extended use comfortable even when full. Great product and value for your money.

Well designed for use and comfortable.
I picked this backpack sprayer because of the simple harness compared to the more complex setups of pro sprayers or lack of waist and chest buckle on the really cheap models. It fits well and is simple to adjust while using. I wanted to point out that there are a number of negative reviews here, saying that they got a used sprayer filled with some kind of poison. It needs to be made clear that the unit was factory filled with a test liquid and storage/shipping preservative. The first time you pump it and use it, this will spray out of the house and there is a fair amount of it. Don't do it inside or pointing at yourself. I'm reasonably sure it's non toxic, but it does stink. Also, it would seem several complaints talk about back spray coming from the handle. To someone who doesn't understand the not well written instructions, they more than likely didn't install the seal in the nozzle. Or they didn't push it all the way in, before putting the nozzle on. Just make sure it's pushed all the way into the nozzle and bottoms out. I would say the only complaint I have is the manual. It's small print, and not laid out well. Everything you need to know is in there, but it's digrams and exploded views are not "instantly understood". It was written by an engineer, and not a person who writes manuals, lol. The one thing I don't understand is the number if negative reviews that talk about it leaking on their backs with whatever poison they put in it to test it. Don't be a lazy fool. Test it with plain water before you load it up with your toxin of choice. Don't overtighten anything and make sure you keep it clean and dry. It's a simple, effective sprayer, that has parts that wear out and need to be replaced. Keep it clean and lube it's moving parts with a little lithium grease. Replace the seals with new ones when they start deforming. It should last for many years.

No leaks, One Pump = lots of spray, works really well
After going through 3-4 different pump sprayers from Bunnings Australia, I found this recommended online from many US based websites. The sprayer came well packed and was easy to assemble, I was only required to add the Pump handle, attach the spray wand and the cone tip. Additional seals and spray configurations are also provided which is nice. The Instructions are well written and legible. I quickly added Round-up, detergent and some dye and was pumping and spraying my front and backyard in no time. There were no issues with leakages at all and the pump lever action is satisfying to use. Functionality: 5/5 Durability: 5/5 (Used twice so far, but it didn't blow the seals after use, which has beaten all the competition I've tried so far) Features & Accessories: 5/5 Honestly, this is the best spray I've used and is worth the investment. It looks easy to maintain and repair also. Don't bother with a el-cheapo that'll break after 1-2 uses.

Great and reliable knapsack
I have used this knapsack about 8 times now and I love it. I have used cheaper packs before that have failed after the first few uses, but this is still going strong. I use it pretty full and the hardest part is lifting it on my back. I usually place it on a short wall so I can slide it on more easily. Even with repeated use at max capacity, it hasnโt missed a beat.
