Seems like good stuff
The media could not be loaded. I think overall this is really good cable, undoubtedly the best stuff I currently have. That being said, there are places in the ad where they suggest it comes in a dispensing box which is not the case. There are also places in the ad where they suggest this cable is burial rated and... I'm not sure that is true either. It doesn't say so anywhere on the box or cable that it can be buried.Bury-able or not, this seems like some really good cable. It has a ground wire in addition to the four twisted pairs which are all neatly separated by an X-shaped plastic divider, neatly wrapped in shielding foil which is subsequently wrapped in some kind of clear plastic wrapper, and all of that is contained in a really tough outer layer that does seem like it will handle being outdoors stapled to my siding just fine (still on the fence about burying any of it). It is also easy to tell that this 23 gauge cable is a little thicker and better than the average cheap cat5 cable.I made a custom POE cable with this stuff and its working great so far. Obviously I can't comment on it's longevity just yet but all signs are that it will last just fine in the outdoors, and I will update the review if for any reason it doesn't!

High quality cable at a reasonable price
Given the feature set on this cable, this is an excellent value. I won't bother repeating everything in the listing, but I do want to note that despite the listing saying it's certified for 350MHz, the markings on the cable itself indicate it is tested to 550MHz.The protective jacket seems very heavy duty, and the construction of the cable is overall good. I noted that other reviewers were concerned about the size of the conductors. I'm not experienced enough to tell the difference between different gauges of wire by site, but I did note that the individual conductors seemed slightly fragile when I was trying to terminate a bit of the cable (with 8P8C connectors I did not like, but that's a different story). Concerned, I decided to do a little test. I took a bit of cable, bent it and pinched harshly enough to make the jacket discolor, then repeated in the opposite direction. Then I stripped the jacket and foil from the section I was testing and examined the conductors. All were completely intact and had no apparent damage. Given how harsh this test was compared to real-world abuse, I have no concerns about the durability of the cable. The only real complaint I have about this cable is indicated in the listing (so it's not fair to drop a star for it) - it is CCA (copper clad aluminum) instead of pure copper conductors. I'm sure this helps keep the cost of the cabling low, but still I wish it were solid copper.

Good performing Cat 6 cable
Too early to tell on how this will perform outdoors but it's working fine. I ran about 120ft of cable inside a black iron conduit from my carriage house to the main house that unfortunately has a breach in there and there is standing water but the way the properties are situated, I don't have much choice but to use this old conduit. So far so good. The built in shielding is working (I have several wires in this conduit). In the item description it says tested to 350mhz but on the exterior of the cable, it is printed "tested to 550mhz" - as it is expected to be for cat 6 cabling. I think the description probably has an error in it. Although I have been doing RJ45 connections for decades, I love using the pass through shielded connectors - especially with the harder cat 6 solid wires and this cable is no exception. Much easier to make sure the colors are in correct order. As someone mentioned that this comes on a spool rather than a dispensing box which I prefer but for the significantly reduced pricing, I will deal with a spool. In any event, self dispensing cat 6 wire doesn't work great because of the rigidity of the wire anyway.

Not solid copper
It's a nice direct-burial cable; I only wish it were solid copper, so I may be using it to run spares for my two trenched POE (150 ft+) cable runs. The shielding is Mylar....

No Issues So Far
I wanted to pick up some outdoor-rated ethernet cable when I found this. It's outdoor rated, foil lined, CAT6, which is excellent. The one thing I am on the fence about is the 350MHz rating. CAT6 can go up to 550MHz. If memory serves me correctly, CAT6 350MHz can go up to 1gigabit, which is standard nowadays. 550MHz cable can go up to 10Gb, which is starting to take off outside the business network and datacenter. I can't imagine attempting to run a 10Gig network outdoors without using direct-burial cable, so this is likely never going to be an issue for me.The spool that this comes on is not the typical box with a hole in the side and the cable gets pulled out of it. This is on a wooden spool, and you have to pull the wire through a hole in the side of the spool. That throws a lot of people at first, but I knew that going in, so I'm not fussed. Overall, good price on what seems (so far) to be good cable.
