These cannot connect to each-other. There is only one connecting side, and it must go to the gate. I ordered 5, to block a larger opening in the house (like a cased opening) and found out the hard way, now I have to return them. It says in the instructions, not to attach an extension to another extension, but I didn't see it on the actual product description. We kept the gate, but now out puppy is confined to a much smaller area than what we were hoping. I probably would have gone with a different gate/fence if I had known. That being said, it's exactly what you would expect. It blocks the hallway and feels sturdy and secure. Haven't had any issues besides the extensions.

Nice very adaptable gate. I love how it closes on it's on after we walk through. Keeps the puppy where he needs to stay. With all the various extensions that can be ordered, it's easy to modify the gate to fit most anywhere. We've put various extensions together and it's worked just fine (despite the company saying people shouldn't do this). We wanted a product that we could repeatedly move so we could gradually give our puppy a larger area when housebreaking him. This gate system has been super.

These products can be VERY confusing! This extention does NOT fit the "safety glow" model by the same manufacturer. They look VERY similar and I wasted an hour trying to get them to fit together.

is exactly that we were looking for. This gate is easy to install and have extension, which we needed. Once installed, it works well, easy to open and close. We are happy with this gate. Recommended.

I’ve bought gates numerous times from Midwest gates. Great quality and the bar close enough together that my 5lb chihuahua can’t walk through.

It came bent. But was too much trouble to return it so we just kept it.

I searched for a long time to find the right gate to divide our rooms and keep the cats out. This gate is heavy duty but you can only use a maximum two extensions and that just made it for our doorway. The gate wasn’t to bad to put together if following the instructions. Took two hours on my own. It doesn’t go together easily, it needed to be tapped together with a hammer to get the extensions to connect. And just like other reviewers stated, the gate will not go on any angled surface. My doorway isn’t flush, it has a slight angled edge so the gate wouldn’t take. It just falls over and the gate door doesn’t shut. I’m going to have to Jimmy rig a solution or this gate is useless. Also, on the edges by the wall, the cat can just slip through! So, I put a self made extension rod made of tapes to keep Houdini out.lol. But I’m still without a gate for now until I can figure out how to angle a piece of wood just right on each side of the gate to attach the stoppers so this gate will stay up and the gate door will close and latch. Headache and beware, this gate is a heavy medal and could hurt a small child or animal if it gave way and fell on top of one of them or your foot. So, well made but a pain in the butt to put together and keep together!
