Nice set. Soft. Work Well!
These come in a nice box, which makes sense since it’s called a “Gift Box.” Inside, there’s 3 separate sealed pouches. There’s no tissue paper or anything like that, just the 3 separate pouches inside the box. But, it still looks nice, so would work as a nice gift for someone. I do feel like the box is kind of big for 3 pouches. I feel like instead of using such a big box, they could have made the box wider but thinner, and fit the pouches in it more snugly. But, that’s just me being nit picky. One pouch holds 3 “Face Halo Original”Rounds. Another pouch holds 1 “Face Halo Body Exfoliating Mitt.” The third pouch holds 4 “Face Halo X Precision Wipes” and a drawstring laundry bag. Inside each pouch is a card that explains what each one is used for. The back of each pouch gives a little explanation of how to use them, but I thought it was nice they still included the card with each pouch.I always double cleanse. I use a makeup removing cleansing oil to kind of melt the makeup on my face and rinse it off with water. Then, I cleanse with a regular facial cleanser. I used to use cotton rounds to wipe off the cleansing oil, but they would kind of tear and disintegrate with the water added to them, and it took a few to get the job done. Then, I started using reusable cotton rounds and have been liking those, but always wished they were a little thicker. So, when I thought this set, I wanted to give it a try!“Face Halo Original Rounds” - You get 3 of these. They are a decent size. They are thick, but not overly so. They are very soft. They each have a little loop, so you can use that to hang them to dry, which is nice. They are white, which I hate 😂 I don’t like seeing them stained. I have the same issue with my disposition cotton rounds. After using them, there is makeup all over them. I rinse them out and use a mild soap to rinse them as well as I can after using them. Once I put them in the wash, they washed out well enough, but still left some behind. It’s not a big deal, but wanted to mention it. I did see that they make a “Face Halo Pro” version, which is just these pads but black. I’d definitely prefer the black ones, so I can’t see any makeup stains! So, if I end up replacing these down the line, I’ll get the black ones. It seems the price of a set of 3 of the “Face Halo Original Rounds” is the same as the price of a set of 3 of the “Face Halo Pro” pads. So, I’ll get the black ones if I replace these. I use these with my usual makeup removing cleansing oil. I tried using just water, but it didn’t go as smoothly across my skin as it did with the cleansing oil. With just water, it seemed like it took more work to get it to wipe the makeup off, and I just didn’t feel like it wiped enough makeup off for me to feel comfortable moving onto my second cleanse. So, I prefer to use these with my usual oil cleanser. I apply the oil cleanser, rub it around my face letting it kind of start melting my makeup off, then I add water to the round and use that to wipe off the makeup and oil. It works well, and feels very soft on my skin.“Face Halo Body Exfoliating Mitt.” I’m not sure why this is called a “Mitt.” It’s not a mitt, it’s a big round pad. I saw in the product photos that it was round, but then in the product photos I also saw a woman using a black mitt. So, I wasn’t really sure what I was going to get - the round pad or the black mitt. It was a round pad. Not a big deal to me, but wanted to mention it so you know what you’re getting. It’s a lot bigger than the “Original Rounds,” so it does work nicely for the body. It’s just as soft as the “Original Rounds.” You can use this dry to give your skin a little exfoliation just because you want to or if you’re going to use a self tanner. But, you can also use this with water or water and a cleanser. I don’t like dry exfoliating my body, but like that you can do that if you want to. I tried it with just water and, like with the “Original Rounds,” I just didn’t love it with just water. So, I used it with a cleanser. It works nicely. I feel like it cleanses my skin well. I do feel like it gives a gentle exfoliation, like a wash cloth does. I don’t think it does any deep exfoliation, but as long as you already keep up on exfoliating your body, this is all you’d need.“Face Halo x Precision Wipes.” These are the ones I figured I’d get the least use out of, but ended up loving the most! I like them if I need to remove some stubborn eye makeup, like mascara or liner. I wouldn’t use more than 2 fingers applying an oil makeup remover there, so it works well. They are nice and soft. One of these I have started using just for cleaning up the edge of my eyeshadow. When I do my eyeshadow, I like to not have to worry about how far out I’m blending. Then, after I finish completing it, I used to use a makeup wipe to make a clean line. It helps make my slightly downturned eyes look more lifted. So, one day I was going to use a makeup wipe for this like usual, and thought I’d give one of these precision wipes a try instead. It worked great! I just used it dry, and it worked perfectly! I always had to be really careful with a makeup wipe not to wipe off makeup I didn’t want to. Using one of these dry, it wipes off right where I want it to, and doesn’t get anything I don’t want it to. So, I really like them! I also LOVE that these are black, so I don’t notice if any makeup stains them! I’m sure the makeup stains them or will eventually, but I like that I can’t see it if and when it does!😂 These also came with a little black drawstring laundry bag. It feels durable. I throw the precision wipes in, and toss the bag into the laundry. It works well that way!Looking at the price ($65 at the time of writing this review), these sure seem pricey! It is cheaper than buying each of these products separately, so that’s nice. It says that these can be machine washed and reused up to 200 times. So, if you’re someone that’s been using disposable cotton rounds or makeup wipes, these might end up being cheaper in the long run. You can wash and reuse these. Of course, at some point down the line (apparently after at most 200 times of use for each one) you’ll need to replace these, but that’s expected with reusable cotton rounds too. The original ones are bigger and thicker than the reusable cotton rounds I’ve been using, so I do prefer these more than those. If you’re not someone who is going to get a ton of use out of all 3 of these little sets - the original face halo rounds, the body exfoliating pad, and the precision wipes - it might make more sense for you to just purchase whatever one you’re going to use the most. But, you’ll definitely want to consider the price of each compared to the price of this set for the best deal! 😊 Overall, I think this is a great set! It would work great as a gift for someone to pamper themselves, and it will work great for anyone to add into their own routine! I recommend!

Some A Bit Thin For Padded Skincare Pads & Way Overpriced
These skincare pads, finger pads, and exfoliator/polisher mitt make for a nice presentation. They come boxed in a nice looking, sturdy box. They don't look as nice when you open the box as it looks in the photo, but there's good reasons for that. For the photo, they need to show the actual products in an appealing manner. For shipping and cleanliness, each different type product comes sealed in their own very sturdy plastic bag.The black finger pads strike me as being like socks for your two fingers. They are designed to fit over your two fingers so that you can get a good grip on the pad to do whatever cleansing or application job you are using them for. The cloth for these is nice and sturdy, somewhat like a good washcloth, yet so much softer than a washcloth. They aren't super smooth though because they are made to pick up make-up or other stuff from your face. I like them much better than a washcloth though because they are less abrasive on my sensitive skin. The white rounds are very nice and are a nice, easy size to handle. They are a padded which I particularly like, though they are not as padded as a few others that I have and I do wish that they were. Still very nice. Good for removing make-up and rinsing cleanser or cosmetic masks off of your face. Very soft and gentle on the skin. The larger pad is rougher on one side, yet still a very fine grain, while the other side is softer. One side is better for exfoliating while the other is better for polishing. It is rather large, about the size of a 45 record or a pancake. Covers a large area and handles very well in the hands. It also wraps easily around curved parts of the body. This too is padded, and again, not quite as thick as I'd prefer. Still does a very good job though. Each piece has a looped tag which makes them so much easier to hang up to cleanly dry out.A very nice collection of skincare pads for yourself, as well as for gifting. Besides nitpicking on the thickness of some of them, my only real problem is the high price of $65 (today's price) for the set. The better quality pads that I had mentioned, though not cheap, were a whole lot more affordable and had just as nice, if not a better, presentation.

use a little remover cleanser on the pads for faster makeup removal
I've been wanting to stop using makeup remover wipes, especially from an eco standpoint but also monetary - at $7 a pack, 1-2 packs a month, it adds up pretty quickly! Getting this set is going to save me money in the long run. I was surprised at how these were able to remove my makeup with just water, although I make things a little easier for me by using a remover lotion/oil/micellar water. I need to use up my micellar water anyway, so I figured I would use it with these pads. I've found that it gets the job done a little easier and I have less rubbing to do, which can't be good for the skin. It also gets my skin cleaner because the waterproof mascara gets a little challenging to remove with the pads alone. I've also used these to remove clay masks, which saves on the water because it takes me about 3-5 minutes of nonstop splashing water on my face to remove that. These are soft and feels nice on my skin. I've used other remover pads before and they felt a little scratchy. My favorite is the rounds, followed by the body one - I didn't like the finger one as much because it is just feels a little more awkward to use. Very happy with these and from the weeks that I've been using these, I've already saved so many wipes and cotton rounds from the landfill. This is a product I will be repurchasing once it's time to replace my current ones.
