Great for the price
Fairly easy install just make sure the clamps aren’t tight for easier install. Fairly easy for the mass airflow sensor as well everything just slipped right over but had to push the sensor all the way so it was over the lip for a tighter fit. Great for the price definitely can’t go wrong and I notice more throttle response and smoother shifting for some reason haven’t driven around enough to notice the mileage. Fair warning though always tighten these clamps by hand until snug “do not over tighten” as it will cause the clamps to fail from previous experience. The air filter could be a bit shorter as it’s quite tight.

7/10.. read below for my experience.
It doesn’t mount up 100%.. the plate below didn’t line up perfectly.. had to bend it to line upWith existing holes. The 2 mounting locations didn’t mount 100% together. So I choose the one to mount to (by the Rad hose).Filter sits very close to fender. Weather stripping was great, fits good.The whole unit itself seems okay. I’llUpdate before winter. No Check Engine Lights came on. Sounds good, just installed today so I don’t know how fuel consumption will be, and I couldn’t tell if there was any added horse power, nor would I care personally.So far it’s a 7/10.The fact it didn’t mount 100% is whats causing it to not be a 10/10. Took time to get it to fit somewhat correctly.Also.. NO INSTRUCTIONS.If you are mechanically inclined you’ll be okay.Thanks

Product itself is good but no instructions
No fitment issues and everything is built well, only drawback is there is absolutely no instructions included. in the stock image of the ad the main pipe is backwards as well and theres no instructions on how to build the heat shield/where it goes, i've been a licensed mechanic for over 10 years and had issues figuring it out with no instructions. if you Google the brand you can find 1 video of someone doing an install it that helps, ran this with a pre-filter sock (will need a large one as the cone is massive) and works awesome/sounds goodTL;DR product itself fits good and is awesome, no instructions makes building it a bit tough

Cheap and effective
You can make it work for the 4.3L v6 aswell. I installed it on my 2006 4.3 gmc sierra.

Great value easy install
Ignore the reviews saying it's hard to install its really simple, only thing that got me a bit tripped up was how to mount the ma's air flow sensor but apart from that it's simple.The product itself is good quality, sounds great and looks great too. Deffinatly better than spending a couple hundred bucks on a k and N filter which is pretty much the same thing
