I have used multiple cases from many different brands. The catalyst definitely provides the most balanced protection of all. From kayaking biking & hiking to corporate meetings it is the perfect case. It is slim and well designed. I always ball at the price buy a different brand get disappointed then get the catalyst. After some bad spills outdoors it is a bit scuffed up but the phone is pristine and that’s why I always buy catalyst. It is worth the price to protect my lifeline.

I love listening to my music while in the shower; this phone case works so well that I never have to worry about my phone being compromised by water. I dropped my phone a few times on the basement concrete floor and the case withstood the blows. The fingerprint reader (aka screen) works well. It catches everything I want to do from typing a message to playing a game on any app. To me, this is the best case I have ever had; it is worth the purchase if you want to keep your phone away from water.

This is the best case ive ever had for a phone. The mag safe works well. You cant hold the phone by the magsafe charger but the connection is about the same as the magsafe macbook connectors. The speaker and mic quality is great. Its water proof and not in like as long as you dont press on the case while washing your hand with the phone so thats awesome i hate having a greasy phone all day after eating. I owned the life proof fre case for 12 pro and its so much better than the life proof

So first off, this case is pretty dang cool. It feels super durable and like it’ll last for a while if you take care of it.I have been using the lifeproof Fre cases for as long as I can remember and while their quality has gone way down since otterbox took them over, they still rock pretty hard.But with the addition of apple MagSafe capability to the new iPhones, I wanted to take advantage of the fun new tech. But the MagSafe chargers and accessories don’t work with the lifeproof Fre case unfortunately. Maybe in the future they will be able to get it to work somehow. But the magnet just slides off the case. If you hold it there, it will charge through the case. But if you remove your hand the charger just falls off.So I saw this little beauty by Catalyst. And I noticed on their description that it says it works with MagSafe. So I figured I’d give it a try. I also bought a MagSafe finger loop to try with the lifeproof Fre. It didn’t work. But I thought maybe with this catalyst case. Fingers crossed!Let me say first, the MagSafe will charge through the catalyst case no problem. And the little MagSafe puck will even hold to the back of the case too.However if you’re hoping to have the case hold onto a MagSafe charging stand with any hold strength at all, or if you’re hoping to use a MagSafe finger loop accessory, you will absolutely be sorely disappointed…it will totally just slide right off. Bummer…So, pretty much the things I was hoping it would do, it will absolutely Not do. But technically the MagSafe charger does work with this case. So the web description is technically accurate, if not all together really honest feeling… just my opinion.But the case really does feel pretty nice. It will for sure protect your phone from ultimate destruction. It will keep the water out. I know the new phones are sort of technically waterproof now. But they still feel a little too fancy with a WAY TOO HUGE price tag for me to be comfortable not protecting my investment. Plus, the nicer your phone is when you go to replace it with a new one, the better your trade in value is, so you don’t have to spend quite the full ten billion dollars for a new one.The little switch on the side of this case that operates the silent mode, is super fluid and smooth. The volume and power buttons have a nice non slip texture to them.The screen does not have those awful little dots all over the screen protector like the lifeproof Fre. So that’s a huge plus. And it’s super smooth and crystal clear.It’s a tiny bit longer and wider then the lifeproof.Also it comes with a replacement silicone charging port cover for the bottom. And it comes with a lanyard. Two things that Otterbox feels unable to provide with their tight fisted grip on production cost.Also it’s rather slippery in the fingers. It can slide out of your hands if your not careful.It could benefit from extra silicone on the sides.I’m honestly not sure how long Catalyst has been around. I’ve never heard of them, so maybe not long?But I feel like even with the room for improvement, this case is very quality. More so than lifeproof.And I feel like they will only get better at their R&D over time.My biggest hope is for a big advancement in MagSafe holding strength. Which is why I bought this case.So if that was your hope too, you might want to avoid this purchase for the time being. But if you’re looking for an all around bomb proof design for your beloved tech device, then scope this thing out. You won’t be disappointed.Catalyst, the MagSafe holding strength would be the perfect fix for this case. With that, it would absolutely be 5 stars!

I have ran the life proof case my hole life absolutely loved the case... went out on a limb bought this case because I read a few reviews well it but me in the ass. This case has a hard time staying on my phone just in my pocket and yes I made sure it’s on correctly never dropped it or anything just comes apart so long story short this case is garbage waisted 100$ on trash

I bought this case one month ago for a lot of money. It has not been through any harsh environments, water or major falls. Within one month, the power button and volume down buttons have broken, rendering the case unusable. The case body has also broken. I emailed costumer support and have still not heard back. I am extremely disappointed in the company and the product. I would like a refund and I will be going back to the lifeproof case.

I have been buying catalyst waterproof cases since the beginning, I must say catalyst you guys nailed this one : ) I have severe ocd and do not see one flaw in this case, perfect 👌 my one gripe would be I wish you guys would bring back the original white and gray color, there is one negative point to this case, and it is the screen protector is a fingerprint magnet 🧲 but there isn’t anything catalyst can do about this considering it is a plastic screen protector, but I can assure you all the materials catalyst uses are the best top of the line, this case was worth the 100$ all day long, other waterproof cases do not even compare trust me I have had them all lol excellent job catalyst and thank you for making a such a quality product and not cheeping out on materials god bless !!!

I have had this case for four months and not a single scratch on the screen no sound problems and completely waterproof. Life proof should buy one and invest in these techniques

This is my first catalyst case after being a long-standing lifeproof user. I saw excellent reviews for this one and was attracted by the fact it was listed as "Magsafe compatible" it does connect to magsafe accessories but I would definitely not trust how secure the magnet grips my charging stand to support the weight of the phone. Before getting this one I had a Mous case and that clamped to the charging dock very well. Either I was supplied with the wrong version or the case needs to have something added to grip the magnet better.Having said that for w waterproof case I have had no one say. It sounds link you are in a bucket during a call and the picture quality isn't adversely effected by the case. Something that couldn't be said for the lifeproof fre case I used previously. I asked Catalyst about magsafe compatibility and was told "Although MagSafe charging will work with our waterproof case for iPhone 12 series, the device itself will not stick onto MagSafe's magnetic charger due to the depth of the case back. We recommend placing the device down horizontally while charging".

Good case, MagSafe does work but is very weak. Not really meant for taking photos under water just to keep the phone dry and protected.

Bit disappointed that despite taking great care of my new phone and placing it in my handbag as usual - the screen is already scratched and of course cannot be replaced.

Case is solid and looks/feels great. However the first use that would even come close to what I’d expect the case to be able to handle has left a large scratch on the front protector. Struggling to find a contact to message in order to rectify this as I’m based in the UK

The quality of the Catalyst waterproof case have gone down drastically since the iPhone X version. Catalyst have used a cheap front screen protector film for this 12 pro case (you will see a lot of dot marks on the front screen protector when you put the case on). For £90, this is totally unacceptable. Seriously considering returning this item and buying a lifeproof instead.
