How long are the mounting straps and how far apart are the buckles?

The straps are about 12 inches. The buckles are about 4 inches apart. Not able to measure at work. This is from memory

I bought this the straps are not long enough for my Forks how possible is it for me to get two more straps or longer straps?

We used zip ties. Or yo can go to a leather shop and longer straps or extenders or cut down a couple of leather belts
