Cheap and easy fix for a slipping Warn XL3000 or similar winch
It doesn't show in the photos but this kit, #74926 comes with the what you see in the photo AND the ring gear the pins engage into and also the snap ring that holds this assembly together under the plastic cover. I ordered this for my winch on my 09 Can AM Outlander max 800 with the factory Warn XL3000 that was slipping because over time the pins and the slots in the ring gear get worn. This is a very easy and cheap fix for these winches if they're slipping as a new winch will run you anywhere from $300 to $600. I even got this kit on sale for about $40 and delivery was free and very speedy. Winch works great now and I'm not out much money!
