No wire behind the digital display. Is this a fault and should I return item?.

It is a sealed unit behind the digital display, so I cannot see any wiring.

I have recently had a knee replacement has anyone had any experience of this post knee replacement

Hi, You can do some recovery training with PROIRON Pedal Exerciser with Digital Display. Hopefully our Mini Exercise Bike Pedal is helpful to your rehabilitation. Best Wishes

What unit is the distance measures? Kilometres or Miles?

Good question, I have been unable to decipher the unit of distance but as I exercise based on time and calorie burn it doesn't matter to me. The instruction leaflet is very unclear on this point. I do think however that it is a good piece of kit, particularly for those with limited mobilty or , as is my case, recovering from injury.

Hi can I change the peddles as I need a wider peddle?

I don't know the answer to this - you will need to check with the maker to see if it is possible to purchase wider pedals
