These colored pencils rock!
Faber-Castell is a company that has been around since 1761. The Goldfaber brand came about in 1935 - all that to say, this is a company that has some experience making colored pencils. I am now on my 5th set of Faber-Castells. These are wonderful. I love the colors - the pencils sharpen easily, and the colors blend well. I don't swatch or do lightfastness tests. I order pencils, open package, smile and color. All of my FC pencils that I ordered have so far arrived undamaged. These pencils are highly recommended.

Smooth coloring pencils
Faber Castell is my absolute favorite coloring pencils. They feel smooth unlike most other brand and are worth the price! Perfect for adults who likes to color.
