Love baking. And thought this might just be another gadget that we use, then leave in the cupboard never to be used again. Made pastry, used the guide to make them the right size, I made the pastry a bit thick so it was bigger than I would recommend. But cooked all the way through with this. It's going to save me a fortune in disposable pie tins or washing my reusable ones. 15 minutes and perfectly cooked all the way through, made a cheese and bean which usually explodes and turns into a volcano, not this time, and diced beef pies. I have include photos so you can see the size which is what we kept looking for. Getting it out, I tipped it upside down hoping for the best and this made them very easy to get out, be careful though, if your pastry is thin it might not work for you. I would definitely recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars Didn’t have any pastry to hand, so decided to test this pie-making machine with sliced bread instead — and I’m genuinely impressed. I filled it with baked beans and cheese, popped it in, and it worked brilliantly. The bread crisped up nicely, the filling was hot and gooey, and it held together far better than expected. If it can handle a makeshift bread “pie” this well, I’ve no doubt it’ll be great with proper pastry. Easy to use, quick, and surprisingly versatile. A fun little machine that does exactly what it promises — even when you bend the rules!

Fantastic product, does exactly what it says on the box, homemade pies in 10 minutes. I was born and bred in north west uk where pies, pasties etc was part of your staple diet, and some of the rubbish you get today especially hollands i can make them myself, happy days. Little tip, if you struggle to get them out while its still hot, just turn it upside down, easy peasy

Excellent machine cooked two chicken bacon and leek pies both came out perfectly cooked in 15 minutes ,first time using one of these machines .pie crust was evenly cooked and filling was hot .This machine makes two proper deep filled pies you can’t go wrong with this product I was that impressed I bought the hairy bikers pie making book for more recipes to choose from to make in the machine .Very good none stick coating on this pie maker just a quick wipe clean with a damp cloth ,ready to go for the next batch ,glad I got this model I looked at others before buying what swayed me was the depth of the pies it makes

Why have I never owned a pie maker before? I really don't know. Idly trawling through youtube, as one does, I hit upon a couple of videos about pie makers. I was intrigued enough to do a bit of research, and found the name Schallen. Well, as fortune would have it Amazon had this on offer at the time, which represented a saving of around a tenner. My research had flagged these as being a good make. It arrived in a couple of days and right out of the box I was impressed. Solid, lovely deep dishes, and the ceramic coating looked good. Within a couple of hours I had it wiped down, pastry made, cases cut to size with the provided cutter. Pies made. Tucking into a lovely minced beef and onion pie. OK not he most exciting filling, but it's what I had. It was ridiculously easy. The coating is great, totally non stick so far. Only made a dozen or so pies so far, including open top tarts and sweet pies. This gadget is a game changer for me. Now experimenting with pastries and fillings. What with this and the air fryer what more does an every day cook need. I love it, and great value. Solid construction. I will update after a few months use. But for now, if you are considering a pie maker, just do it.

I used it today for our Sunday lunch. I made my own suet pastry to see how it was, the cutter is so useful. I'd forgotten to heat it up to burn off any residue, as I'd wanted to have it cold as one reviewer advised, so it was still hot when putting the pastry in and one started to sink a bit while getting the second base in. I put cooked beef mince in and topped them both, and I was happy with the result, not perfect but they can only improve the more I use it. Very pleased with the result, would recommend this pie maker.

The pie maker was a great buy on the quality was very good saved time and money
