I've gotten a number of packs of these bandages over the past decade+. I used to use traditional bandaid style bandages, until one day I made the mistake of sliding during a softball game while wearing shorts. I skinned a large section of my leg, and researched the best way to get it to heal. I read about tegaderm (transparent film dressing), and silver gel, bought both, and tried them out.Having a clear bandage, I could watch the skin growing back over the next days/weeks I had it covered with the tegaderm. It healed quickly, and I became a believer in covering wounds fully (after cleaning them) and keeping them covered with no air exposure during the healing process.I then found these bandages, which seem to basically use the same plastic as the tegaderm plastic for the outside of the bandage, and a more traditional bandage in the center. I've been using these for years for small wounds/cuts/scrapes for me and my family, and they've been great. I continue to use silver gel rather than Neosporin in the wound itself, and usually try to change the bandage every day or 2.It can actually be pretty hard to put these on without creasing them/messing them up a little bit, thereby making them not fully waterproof, but I find it doesn't really matter. The only real annoying thing about that is that when that happens, water will get in during a bath and likely a shower, meaning you likely need to change the bandage right after.If the seal is made correctly, it can withstand a bath. It has little white removable paper guides to help make it easier to put on, but they are hit and miss. Success with putting them on properly also heavily depends on the shape and size of the body part you're putting them on. Overall, they're harder to put on than traditional bandaids, but I highly recommend them and wouldn't go back to traditional ones for most injuries.

These are waterproof exactly as described, so long as they're applied properly.I use a LOT of lotion due to having eczema, and these will not adhere to my skin unless dry. That's with pretty much every medical adhesive item. However, there's a little trick I've found when I forget to remove some of my lotion. If you're having trouble getting the bandage to stick, try pressing your hand on it for a few seconds. The warmth of your hand will help activate the adhesive. This works most of the time for me across all bandage types.I haven't gone swimming in these bandages (and don't plan to), but it's held up wonderfully to repeated hand washing and other limited exposure to water, as well as me applying lotion to the close surrounding skin.I highly recommend!

A+Seller. Excellent product if you know how to properly apply it to the wound. Keeps water out. Sticks like glue. Highly Recommended.Tip: Clean the wound and area around the wound with an antiseptic. Make sure skin is dry and free of oils and lotions. If you use an antiseptic- biotic on the wound keep it off the perimeter of the wound where the bandage will be applied. Place the bandage on the wound and smooth out the edges onto the skin pressing down. Remove the white strips slowly then apply pressure around the edges of the bandage to seal the adhesive to the skin.

They are thin and easy to put and go well on wounds. They stick to the skin really well and last through a shower so none of that icky bandage coming off in the bath. Also when I do peel it off it doesn't stick to my skin so bad that it hurts.

Clear waterproof band-aids. I have never purchased band aids like this before. Both of my thumb nails split about halfway down the middle due to health issues. I had to bandage them up due to my nails getting snagged on clothing and tearing more. I have tried several different brands and types of band-aids that are waterproof but they did not stay on as long as Netcare clear waterproof band-aids. The first day, I wore them for about 14 hours. During that day I took a bath, washed my hair, washed many dishes, cleaned appliances, and other things that a housewife does and they kept my thumbs dry. I will say I messed up the first band-aid trying to get it on my thumb. The clear material is thin but strong and very flexible. I made sure that the clear edges of the band-aids were pressed down real good along the edges. Since the band-aids are thin, it did take longer to get them off than the other band-aids I have used. I found one thing very annoying while wearing this brand band-aids on my thumb is that they grab/stick to several different things like sides and screen of my Iphone, metal frames on my eye glasses, touch screens on Ipad & lap top, and fabrics when putting hands in your pockets. They need larger size band-aids.

We get these a lot because our family loves them. My oldest son and I have sensitive skin, and these don't bother us. My youngest LOVES water play in the warmer months so these work GREAT for him! We all prefer these bandages on our hands so they don't come off so easily when we our hands wet or use them for regular activities.These are incredibly durable and comfortable, we forget they are even there! They come off easily when we intentionally remove them with no pain. These are absolutely perfect for our whole family!

I cut my finger and couldn’t find a bandaid that wouldn’t need to be changed every time it got wet. Love that this one is waterproof and doesn’t need to be changed that often!

These bandages stay on very well, even when they get wet. My only advice would be to not let it stay on too long because it with wrinkle your skin under it.
