Fantastic entry casting reel !
Best budget baitcaster reel I have used. Lews is quality nothing more to say, if you’re hesitant don’t be this is a great starter reel.

Great little reel
Small lightweight and compact. Operates smoothly casts well and retrieves quickly. Breaks work and operate as they should. Pairs perfectly with my daiwa airx d casting rod. Pleased with purchase and would certainly not hesitate to buy another lews baitcaster based off this purchase.

A staple for a reason
The bang for buck on this thing is great. It’s a staple for a reason and it feels like it. Got this for my dad to get him into baitcaster fishing. He may have not preformed to well his first time but that baitcaster sure as hell did. Straightforward as far as baitcasters go, once you get the settings down there’s minimal backlash. A great all round pick.

Best Gift for husband
Bought this as a present for my husband. He loves fishing and this has been his prized baitcaster since I gave it to him. It works great and easy to add on the line. tensions are easily adjustable and he has caught many fish with this baitcaster. Also Lew's is a great brand and never been disappointed. I would definitely reccommend this as a gift for fisherman or people who love to fish with baitcasters.

Good reel it would be good to test in lews upper range and compare probably not much difference
