**Q: How many drawer dividers are provided?**
A: There are 4 of the large dividers and 8 of the small dividers in the back frame. These can be a bit tricky to remove, but they aren't necessary as support or to keep the drawers in.You can find more of the large drawer dividers on Amazon under ASIN B003BVK8K2If you need more dividers for the smaller drawers, they can be found on Amazon under ASIN B0009FHJVY

**Q: Do the drawers click or lock into place.  If I knocked it over would everything spill out?**
A: There are stop tabs at the back of the drawer to keep them from coming out in your hand when opened. In my opinion if it were knocked over, you would have some drawers open and those items spill out. This might also require replacement drawers, if any are damaged in the fall.

**Q: confuse with dimensions; anyone know length, width and height of this? many thanks.**
A: Outside dimensions are a little ambiguous because corners are radiuses and the frame is slightly flexible. What is completely maddening is this is the second generation of a product family and I had studs set in the wall to hang these organizers on the wall. Although the nominal outside dimensions are exactly the same, the precise dimensions of the brackets on the back have changed slightly. Since I couldn't reposition all of the studs on my wall, I had to break out a Dremel tool and enlarge all of the mounting holes slightly to make the new organizers mount on the same wall with the older ones. They look exactly the same on the front, but they don't mount the same. Grrrrrr.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Akro-Mils = classic, utilitarian storage for bits and bobs

I’m not ashamed to admit I collect junk. I maintain my sanity in today’s hellscape by making tiny weird things out of other tiny, weird things. These drawers have my mid-size garbage/treasures/supplies organized to an obnoxious degree. I had six 24-drawer units stacked and anchored to a studio wall—now it’s eight. They hold everything from cut nails to seed beads to animal bones to microscope slides. With my 7th, 8th, and 9th cabinets, I went with 44- and 64-drawer units. I’m so excited! 😂 Great thing is, drawers from chests purchased 20+ years ago are interchangeable with new ones. Since the 90s at least, the drawers have been made of a slightly flexible, translucent Rubbermaid-esque plastic. I can rearrange drawers endlessly between different units, and they are virtually indestructible. Housings are harder—maybe polystyrene?—and are made with stops to allow drawers to hang out, open. Easy, consistent, fully assembled, and durable. Also, the drawers have internal rails—I can divide them in half with strips of cardboard if I want. (The back of the unit has plastic dividers one can snip out to use as templates, too!) The price keeps going up—but buying through Amazon is cheaper than most big box retailers. And, the Amazon warehouse often has “like new” models that add another few bucks’ worth of savings. These are still made in the US—and isn’t that something to support? Akron, Ohio for the win. I love supporting a US employer/manufacturer. EDIT: unlike most craft storage totes and caddies that have a ton of wasted dead space and are made to eventually crack, tip, or fall apart, these units are heavy enough to not wobble or slide around, and they are compact—barely larger than the drawers they hold. They definitely take a beating, making them a great choice for art supplies, beads, Lego, as well as nuts, screws, and bolts. I could rave about great storage for days—these are at the very top of my recommendation list. IRIS brand storage has a tendency to yellow. Akro-Mils does not, in my experience. I’d rather avoid throwaway plastic junk and buy something made to last a lifetime (that just happens to be plastic). I’m an avid junker, and these never show up secondhand. People keep them forever. SECOND EDIT: In the stacked photo, you can see how a few units sag a bit—those were bought in 2010, I think, and they were originally loaded with beads. It doesn’t impact the drawers or the solid nature of the unit.
