Confusing! It keeps me cool! It keeps me warm! I am a Merinoholic!
I confess. I am a Merino Wool-aholic. I am a transplanted Californian living in the PNW and these long sleeve Merino wool pull overs are fantastic. I won't disclose how many I've bought because of the awesome colors or how often I wear them. I can stop any time...really I can!Kidding aside, this very well made pull over fits to size, is soft, is durable in the neck area as opposed to other brands (looking at you Kuhl) and is worth the price. PLUS you recycle it and it biodegrades and doesn't turn into microplastic. I strongly recommend these for their breathability and that weird wool capability of keeping you cool and warm as needed. I recently wore these on extensive hikes in Moab, Arches National Park, Zion, and Death Valley during the Spring and they supported me through significant temperature swings during the day.Buy one and try it out. If you get a black or grey one you can go out to white table cloth dining in it and people will think you are cool. If you get a blue or red you'll be high visibility out on your walk or hike.I think that it is worthwhile noting that you need to very gently wash and then hang to dry. Don't put these in the dryer at all.

High quality, comfortable, great customer service
I’ve purchased 6 of these in various colors and wear them most days. In one case there was a quality issue (too big compared to all the others) and Minus33 customer service was really great in helping to correct the issue. I highly recommend Minus33 products, and especially the lightweight merino long-sleeve T’s!

Comfy shirt AND a warranty? I’ll take two!
Great feeling T-shirt in a Tan499 option for uniformed personnel!! I’ve been wearing Under Armor shirts and underwear under my uniform for 15+ years and felt it was time for a change. UA’s quality seems to be going down and I wanted a natural, renewable fabric that would wick sweat. Merino was my answer and then some since it’s also anti odor and fire resistant. I searched and searched and even spoke to a few companies on the phone about making a Tan499 shirt. Minus33 was one of two companies that made T-shirts in a tan color. Minus33 is the only company as of this review that makes a Tan499 option. And it being a U.S. based companies in NH is icing on the cake. The feel is light and breezy, it’s not quite as soft as cotton but still really soft. It’s a different kind of softness (if you can imagine that). It’s stretchy kind of like spandex and fits snugly but not tight. (Think Under Armor loose gear if you go down a size). The price on these may seem high but since they can be worn multiple days between washing it’s comparable to the price of under armor T-shirts. I got 2 long sleeve and 2 short sleeve and that works great for me. Now if Minus33 would just make a V-neck So I could switch my everyday shirts to merino...I left one star open because I’ve got some merino that is a bit softer feeling. If this gets softer after a wash or two I’ll come back with the 5th star.

All the benefits of merino wool suitable for warm/sunny weather
Synthetic fabrics do not agree with my body chemistry so I want merino wool shirts for all seasons. I already have enough shirts for cool weather and I want light-colored, lightweight merino wool shirt for warm/sunny weather/locations.This shirt satisfies all my requirements.I only wish it were made in democratic countries. (- 1 star for that)

Fit fine for my size (XL) comfortable, not scratchy
Initial review only... Got for a hammock camping trip, and wore the entire week in moderately cold weather (high 50's to low 30's). It felt soft and comfortable, and not scratchy. I'll try to update after I've washed, dried and worn it a few more times. Significantly more expensive than I wanted.

Warm without getting sweaty
For the question "How does this fit", I think it depends on your personal style. I bought this for my husband for Christmas (I am not taking credit, he picked it out) and he wanted a Large. The Large would have fit in the chest and arms similar to the model in the product description, but the arms would have been too short. At the last minute, I changed the order to XL and I am so happy I did. The extra large is not too baggy, but it is not "form fitting" as a large would have been. The arm length alone was worth the change for me.This is a very light weight material. When I took it out of the package, I thought it was so soft but there is no way this is going to be warm enough. It has been in the sub-zero temperatures for the past two weeks in the Midwest. I will tell you this shirt has been perfect. It is warm without being sweaty. You can lounge indoors or add extra layers (we have all been there with Thermal shirts that end up so bulky it is challenging to add a flannel or sweatshirt). My husband has been talking non-stop how much he likes this shirt. When you see Wool you think of a scratchy abrasive material. Not Merino Wool. This has a silk like feel to the material and you just feel like you are swimming in luxury.

under t-shirt 3) under ski jacket They perform pretty well for all these uses
I bought these to wear as a base layer for a number of purposes:1) motorcycling (under my riding jacket)2) cold weather, under t-shirt3) under ski jacketThey perform pretty well for all these uses. I wore them on the motorcycle in cold and hot weather. Under a mesh jacket, they wicked sweat away very well keeping me cool, and in cold weather they kept me warm enough without being too warm. They're very comfortable, and don't itch as one might think wool would. Though, I would recommend running them through the wash before wearing to soften it up a little. They are machine washable and dryable. As for construction, they held up pretty good, considering I wore them on a just about daily basis for the last ~10 months (putting them on/taking them off twice a day for my commute to work on the bike). They're still in great shape.I would wash these about every week or so, and they never really smelled that bad. The wool did a great job at not giving bacteria a place to live. All in all, I would (and just did) buy these again. If you're doing really cold-weather expeditions, you might want to get the medium weight equivalents from Minus33, but these work well in both warm and cold weather.

Great, soft, economical. Would buy again.
For the price, you won't find another lightweight, durable, all-wool, super-soft undershirt.

Absolute crap. Buyer beware. Made in China.
I should have known better considering product origin. Worn all of two times & holes everywhere. Purchased multiple items from this producer with very much the same results. The feel is luxurious, the durability is abysmal. Washing & drying were conducted with my standard following manufacturer's instructions, plus extra precautions. Totally irrelevant.... Buyer beware!

Super comfy on skin. Good for warm or cool temps
Material is very smooth and comfortable on skin. I'm 6'2, 175lb, 42" chest 31" waist. Fit is athletic (conforms to body) but not tight. As is the case much of the time for me, sleeve length is too short with long arms. Would have given 5 stars if sleeves were long enough.Have worn as base layer in cold temps and works well. Also worn for outdoor work 15 to 30deg C.Didn't get sticky and muggy like some technical hot weather tops. Didn't overheat.

Poor Quality Material
Dislike the quality of the product , the material is far too lightweight and rips extremly easily. I do not recommend purchasing this item. Was not able to return the item to Minus33, the warrantee is not comparible to other suppliers Warrantee.I highly recommend purchasing from another Merino Wool distributer.
